Stumpbusters Tree Service

I was quoted for a higher dollar value than another highly rated company. When Steve followed up with me to see if I would be proceeding with him, I advised him how I truly did like what he was offering but the price didn't compare to another company. Without asking how much the other company was asking for the same job he managed to match it right of the bat. Then dropped the price for veterans day (unknown if he did it because of our line of work or if he was really trying to win my service). Either way I was really happy with the new price and decided to schedule the work with him. After a little less than a month, someone rings the doorbell and the works are here to began the job. However, they were a day early and no one had called us to even ask or inform us that they would be coming by a day earlier. We didn't really mind it was just unexpected. They knocked out the maple tree up front and left telling us they'll be back tomorrow. They showed up almost an hour late the actual day they were scheduled for, now if that was the plan then please tell me that you came a day early to come in a bit late on the actual scheduled day. They also didn't call to give a heads up. **My fiancee was able to cut down a bunch of the small trees we had on the side and I asked the guys if they could pick up the stumps, which they agreed to for $225 more, which wasn't bad for us. Overall they got the work done in a good time. Everything was taken care of except for one stump that they missed as well as a pile of mulch we still have on the front yard. I was too tired to do a final walk through and my fiancee was taking their word that they would be back with a truck to get the rest of the mulch. A week later still here. Overall I was satisfied with the work and would most likely call them back for future tree needs. Just hope they are a bit more thorough and call ahead.

Nice people, showed up on time and took care of everything. Price was very good.
