I have never had such horrible experience with any pro in my entire life. This guy is totally clueless of what he does. I hired him to appraise my house because I just went thorough divorce and my X is buying me out. The current value of my house is about $350,000 at minimum. Her refinance mortgage comp appraised the house 330,000. I knew that banks always low ball to be on the safe side so I decided to hire a independent appraiser. I saw him on Home Adviser with good ratings so I gave him a call. To make the long story short, he did the appraisal. Can you guess what his final number was???? ....189,000.... Can you believe it? when you do a divorce there is always one partner who doesn't like your value. i the partner who has to pay I can only go by what the comps show and adjust accordingly.

He contacted me quickly.I explained my needs and schedule. His price was more than fair.He showed up on time,He was in and out in less than an hour. He completed and emailed appraisal to me in a little more than a day.....I had hope for a higher value(of course!) but his figures were explained well. He was both polite and personable.I would use him again in a heartbeat!
