Our specialty is walk in tubs and showers although we provide complete ADA accommodation services. We offer the highest quality and most attentive customer service. I chose to work in this industry because At Secure-Bathing, we specialize in installing products and equipment which enable handicapped individuals and seniors to live safe and comfortable in their homes. Our main reason for this specialization stems from personal experience which enabled our family to overcome problems in our home, within our own family, which continues to inspire us to be passionate about our work..

Community Involvement

Secure Bathing donated a stairlift to the 2016 WVIZ /PBS televised auction. The donation was to help the non-profit public television station serving Northeastern and North Central Ohio.

The winning recipient received the stairlift and Secure Bathing installed it for him with no additional charges.

There were some un-known details that we knew would come up with this repair. I trusted Lou to do the job right and keep within a budget and he did just that. He and his workers keep everything clean and professional. I am very happy with the results and would use this company again, also would reccomment them to anyone.

Install or Replace a Bathtub

Only reason for the 3 starts in value is all we needed was a tub smashed and removed. Took all of about 20 minutes. They did knock a bit off the original quote and granted, they did cart the debris away, but seemed a bit much to me for demo'ing a bath. The rating has NOTHING to do with the company, employees or service overall that was received. They were very friendly, paid careful attention to prepping the path from bathroom to front door so debris did not go all over, and did the job quickly. Even got a few tips :-) We will definitely hire them again if the need arises.

They were timely with their work and accurate on the pricing. They even went beyond what they said they would do. I will certainly use his services again since I have multiple properties and we have been looking for a reliable contractor.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
