Reviews
Write a ReviewI thought the work was rather expensive considering the time spent and the amount of materials required to finish the job. I felt that once they issued the quote on the job they were not willing to deviate from that even if there was less work required than they thought. In addition there was some additional work that I asked for a quote on and once they were gone they never called me back with any information.
Incredibly fast - 12 guys in one day to strip 2 layers and reroof. We had a couple dozen nails in the driveway, but the yard was clear. There was also debris and nails in the gutters, but they came and cleared them after I called. 2 years on and we had a fresh leak in the flat rubber roof which they had repaired - they came straight out and repaired free of charge - very impressive service. We did have them sub-contract a chimney rebuild for which the price crept up after starting work. Next time I'd contract the mason separately. I certainly recommend Ryan for roofing - excellent service
I will not hired Ryan Contracting again i sign contracting 3/03/03 and did not Start work untill 6/2/03
Job was delayed first do to weather and then delayed again do to an issue the homeowner had with the city.
The true test will be in the winter, I will know then how the roof holds up.
This was not at all a good experience. The salesperson called incessantly until I agreed to have the work done, then abandoned me until the day of installation, not returning any calls. He finally brought a promised contract the day of install, and back-dated it, insisting I sign. He never brought the promised warantee. One window was broken upon install, and has not yet been replaced. I have called for updates on the replacement and my calls have not been returned. I am considering taking the vendor to court.
This contractor promised delivery dates that he did not meet. In addition, upon installation, the contractor left my house a mess and with damage well beyond the touch-up paint only that was promised. I would not recommend this contractor. The windows themselves are an OK product but these guys did not respect my home, at all.
Clean up was below average. Did come back and finished job.
