Our original rep had some communication issues. Once we had a new contact (previous one had "moved on" to another job somewhere) communication was excellent the rest of the way. The work was well done, and the workers were excellent craftsmen and good people. We would use this company again, and recommend them to anyone in need of a good roofer/roofing experience.

I signed a contract on Nov 3 to replace roof and two attic windows. I was told the work would start within 30 days. Work on the roof started Dec 28 - roof came out very nice. Problems I reported to Ryans: gutters not cleaned and contained debris from old roof, a window screen was damaged, the vent pipe that was removed was not replaced and the installers put a hole in a small rubber roof that was not part of the contract. Ryans has not taken action to correct these problems. Replacement windows have not been installed and they have not responded to my request for a date when they will be completed.

We hired Ryan Contracting and Roofing on September 21 2004 to replace rubber cover on our flat roof. The job did not start, and we hope it will be completed during Spring 2005.

They were professional in the beginning, and once we signed the contract, they immediately sub-contracted the job and we had to haggle over everything. They took much longer than stated and didn't even finish cleaning. We are still having issues with the roof because of their poor work.

Good believeable salesman promised early work completion but company did not deliver. Poor communication by company, company only came as I said I may go elsewhere. Repaired hole in roof but poor work (left bedroom like a battle field, had to get repair man in to complete the job properly) but rest of roof looks o.k.? Would not recommend them if they continue to put customer throught the waiting game, it appears that the company's right hand doesn't know what the left is doing (does the salesman actually discuss with company what was said with customer, I will surmise, definitely not! When they eventually make contact they are all milk and honey with apologies galore and very believeable. My thoughts would be to look elsewhere!
