I could not be happier with the service from Refresh the Space. Lisbeth and Eva did an absolutely phenomenal job they went above and beyond to make sure every inch of my store was spotless. They cleaned mirrors, baseboards, windows, bathrooms, kitchen, and office with such attention to detail that everything sparkled. Not only did they sweep, dust, and mop the entire store, but they also made sure to get under all the furniture, leaving no dust anywhere. On top of that, they organized all of our inventory, which was a huge help. Kevin, the owner, was a great communicator throughout the process, making scheduling and coordination effortless. He ensured everything was taken care of to the highest standard. Lisbeth and Eva were also incredibly sweet and professional, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend Refresh the Space to anyone looking for a thorough, detail-oriented cleaning service. I will definitely be using them again.

I am a person based in Houston Texas who hired this company and asked for a throughly detail move out clean on a 4 bd 3 bath 2600sq ft home. I spoke with co founder Kevin Chin whose home base is in New York and mentioned they also have another location based in Houston. As soon as I came in contact with Kevin he was really eager to gain my business and constantly checked in to book the appointment and was very persistent. He quoted the price is $35 per hour per cleaner however failed to mention he charges taxes on top of that rate. Throughout our conversation I made it clear of my needs for this project and how throughly clean the bathrooms, kitchen & oven, ceiling fans, needed to be clean, common areas are well kept. The house in general is pretty well kept I let him know that I don?t need as many hours but he insisted it would take 12-14 cleaning hours because how much goes into detailing. We eventually agreed but I mentioned to send strong performers because of the level of clean I needed to be done. On the schedule day 2 cleaners show up named Sylvester and Victoria. Their goal time to get here was 9:00am and showed up at 9:40am to be fair there is an hour window for arrival time. When they walked in we covered some expectations as well as other areas I would like them to avoid cleaning because there were still some belongings in those areas. As I reminded them of some of the expectations the man replied ?we know how to do our job? They were asked to start upstairs where there is a loft ,3 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom and hour in a half in they were done and worked their way downstairs. We went to check in the quality of work and noticed there was soap scum and grime left an obvious area of the bathtub and we asked if they can go back and detail it, with an attitude the man said he already cleaned it but he will do it again. As they worked downstairs on the master bedroom we had to call it to their attention the residue that was left behind in the shower and tub again with an attitude he went to go back to clean it. At this time I noticed that the quality of service expected from this DETAIL cleaning was not going to meet the standards that was needed and let them know that they can wrap it up by 1:00pm and leave and they didn?t need to worry about the oven or cleaning anything else it was in that moment they were asking questions and put better efforts in improving their customer service and stating if we notice anything they can ask them to do it again and said they had already cleaned the oven but they can try to clean it again because it was left with all kinds of sticky residue. They then tried to explain that their bosses buy them off brand cleaning products and this is a low class cleaning company. They had less than 2 months working for Refresh The Space. As politely as I could I made them aware this wasn?t going to work out. After they were dismissed I finally got a hold of Kevin explained the situation and he asked me what I wanted to do he did expect me to pay for all the hours that they were here. We ironed out some details and landed in a common ground. Maybe the New York has more experience cleaners but Houston area wasn?t it for me. As a side note and I say this with all the empathy but the cleaners parked their car in front of my house with locked dogs inside of their car and cracked their windows it broke my heart to think they would need to be there for so many hours until the end of the shift which is a positive note of excusing them early so they can tend to their dogs. This is not level of professionalism I expected from this company being charged essentially $70 Tax and hour for below standard performance. I would strongly encourage to look for an other cleaning service for a DETAIL CLEANING in the greater Houston areas.
