Clean Windows

Jesse and Chris did a great job. They called as they were on their way and they arrived on time. They were pleasant and careful. I felt very safe with them in our home. They cleaned the screens and tracks and the windows are spotless. My windows haven't looked this good in years! I will be using this company again and recommending them to all of my friends! You should use them too!

Clean Windows

They were not careful with screens and bent one, now doesn't fit. Moved some outdoor things and didn't put them back. The windows look great. Very disappointed about the screen, they didn't tell me about it, I had to discover it myself. I called them and he didn't seem very concerned.

Thank you for choosing our company to clean your windows for you. I apologize for the dissatisfaction about the screen issue. As we have previously discussed on the phone that screen was already bent when we had started the job. Since the screen was bent we weren't able to get it out of the track so we had to take out your window and clean it from the inside. I will contact you to see if there's anything we can do to make the situation right

My husband and I were SO impressed with the results of this company cleaning our windows. They were comfortable to be with and did a remarkable job. I could not believe our windows could look that good. I would highly recommend this company for that tedious job that we all don't want to do. They were also reasonable in cost and well worth the awesome results.

Jesse and Kenny showed up right on time, moved fast and even went above and beyond and changed the batteries in my 3rd story window shades. They cleaned my windows inside and out including sills and screens. Excellent job!! They were very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend them.

Jesse & Kenny were absolutely fabulous! We received a phone call 45 minutes prior to our appt. confirming things. They showed up on time, introduced themselves, did a walk through and got to work. They were very professional yet friendly and prepared with all the necessary equipment & supplies. They completed our windows in record time with no hassles and our clean windows look great. We will recommend them to our children as well as other people in our neighborhood. Very pleased!

We perform this screening when a business applies to join our network and, if the business is accepted, whenever concerns are brought to our attention. We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
