Write a ReviewI’ve had a great experience with their service. They are reliable and always responsive—I can call them anytime, even during emergencies, and they arrive quickly. The team is professional, friendly, and consistently provides excellent service. Highly recommend them! Regards Yeshi
This is my second time using Quality Service. They arrived on time they were professional. I gave my neighbor's their contact information. Look forward to more projects.
They were very professional curteous always on time. They did a phenomenal job on our floors. Will definitely use their services again.
Jenny and her team were great. They did an awesome job renovating my aunt's townhouse to get it ready for sale at a very reasonable price. I will certainly use them again for my house and my siblings have already asked me for her contact information.
Thank you, Lan. Always happy to help. As a small business owner, I really appreciate your business in every way!
Review of Quality Services Pro It is with heavy heart that I write this review because I do not write reviews of anything unless I feel strongly, either positively or negatively, about the service that was provided to me. In this case, I am writing about my very negative experience working with Quality Service Pro, in Alexandria, VA. QSP provided renovation work to my town home. I wanted three walls removed and replaced with two decorative columns to provide a more open floor plan. The work required rewiring of a few electrical outlets, dimmer switches, and the relocating of plumbing pipe. The reason I waited so long to write the review, was because I wanted to include the total number of dollars I ended up spending to fix the issues that were left by Quality Service Pro. It was not until several weeks into the renovations that issues started to arise. The **electrician** on my build was a teenager who was not experienced in residential wiring. He created several junction boxes and used the wrong size electrical boxes which ultimately led to our house failing the first township inspection. I asked the company to make sure to send their electrician to the second inspection in case the inspector had any questions. QSP sent two non-electricians, who did not understand English, to the second inspection which I ended up failing for the second time. The inspector warned us we will be charged the next time we fail an inspection. The inspector was also very concerned about the quality of work being performed on my house and made sure to say so during the third inspection. Once the electricity was installed, QSP built the decorative columns which also housed the switches and electrical boxes. It is difficult for me to convey what a poor job QSP did on these columns. The electrical boxes were not centered on the columns, and installed right on the edge of the column. The holes that were cut for these switches were jagged with multiple cuts made into the wood. QSP also had to relocate a plumbing pipe from an interior wall to an exterior wall. When they replaced the section of flooring, there was half an inch **dip** in the floor that was clearly visible when the trim was replaced. Incidentally, the trim ended up being the wrong color and did not match the floor. I called QSP multiple times about the flooring and was told I would just have to deal with the appearance. When I said that was unacceptable, they finally sent out flooring experts who took one look at the dip and shook their heads in disbelief. Needless to say they were able to build up the sub floor and replace the wood floor in less than two hours. They also replaced some other wood planks that were hastily installed by QSP. Some cuts were so jagged, there were significant gaps between the floor boards. They also left giant gashes in the floor as a result of dropping equipment and tools from their ladder. Also, when they removed the protective sheeting on the stairs, the glue pulled the stain off my wood floors. When I had pointed this out to QSP earlier, they just waived my complaints off although when I asked them if this work would be acceptable in their house, they admittedly said no. After days of arguing with QSP about the (lack of) quality work, they agreed to give me a 10% discount (but did not offer to fix any of it). At this point I was so angry and frustrated with QSP, I just wanted them out of my house. They charged me $7000 for the work, but I spent more money to fix their mistakes. What I had to repair/replace: **replace 2 decorative columns ($1200) **sand and refinish hardwood floors ($4000) **cut out dry wall and replace plumbing pipe ($2000) As I said earlier, I only believe in writing reviews if the work was either very impressive, or poor. In this case, the latter. I am still very angry about the lack of quality on QSPs work!
Thank you for your review; however, it is disappointing that it took you almost 1 year to provide a review and with some dishonesty to the matter. I will point out in detail the items. 1. I want to clarify that the project that we conducted at your home was given with a tremendous discount based on your budget and we wanted to work with you. 2.You are right about the first electrician who came to your home ? he was licensed but unfortunately he did not perform well?we agree on that. As far as the 2 workers - We never said they were electricians. It just so happened that they were there while the inspector was also there; so therefore, the inspector approached the workers and started to explain to them about the electrical issues which they had nothing to do with because they were not electricians. So that was a confusion on your side and the inspectors. Nevertheless, we proceeded by sending you another electrician and inspection passed. 3. You complain about the columns and when you checked the columns you pointed out a few items that you wanted QS to repair and we did complete the list that you gave us and on the final walkthrough no issues arose and you said that you were fine with the columns. As far as the holes, we could not center them because of the 4x4 supporters that are holding the beams and cannot be cut through so the only way to install the electrical boxes were on the side of the columns which at the time, we explained that to you and you agreed to it. If you would have brought up any other issues regarding the columns we would not have hesitated to fix them but you did not contact us about it until now ? almost 1 year later you brought it up in the review. Not professional and not fair to us!!! 4.As far as the floor ? MY REPLY TO YOU IS - We sent over the same floor guy ? so for him to shake his head its ridiculous on a job that he did himself. We fixed this problem ? not sure why you are complaining about it. We told you that the new floor even though it was the same Bruce floor the pieces were going to have different shades and it would not match with the existing floor and the only solution would be to sand the entire area and stain it to one color. You said you did not want to spend the money at that time and that you were fine with how the floor looked. Again ? when we did the final walkthrough you did not bring this up and you said you were satisfied. 5. You mention the protective plastic- This is the first time we are hearing this from you. AGAIN ? you did not mention this in our walkthrough. And, if you would have mentioned this to any of our representatives during the final walkthrough, we would have done everything possible to fix it. 6.You mentioned that you repaired/replaced columns, flooring, and plumbing pipes: a.I don?t understand why you repaired/replaced the columns when they were inspected by the city inspector. Rough and final inspection and passed. b. We advised you to refinish and sand your hardwood floor but you neglected to do it now you complain about it. c. I don?t understand why you replaced the plumbing pipe when again it was inspected by the city inspector and passed rough and final. We would never leave any of our customers so unsatisfied like you say you are. We have been in business since 1995 and we know the process and always try to work ethically in everything we do. We definitely are not perfect, but we certainly go out of our way all the time to satisfy as humanly possible our customers. Its unfortunate that you did not call us back to make any repairs that you say were necessary. We would have not rested until everything was at your satisfaction. What we don?t understand is that during the walkthrough you seemed fine with everything and released our final payment. So, for you to say that we were so awful it is very unfair and disappointing in every level!!!
Quality Sevices did great work at a reasonable price.
We hired Quality Services to paint the stairs, bathroom, and den area in the basement, and make a few repairs to the walls. Nelson came over and gave a quick appraisal and some helpful advice, they offered an estimate well within our budget, offered some helpful advice on the paint selection, and came in and performed all the work in less time than expected. They lived up to their name in every way, and we are thrilled with the results!
Another great job from Quality Services. They not only replaced all the carpeting in my home with hardwoods, but also painted throughout, removed a textured ceiling and reconfigured some closets for me to create more storage. Earlier in the year they remodeled a bathroom for me. I will not hesitate to contact them again for my kitchen in a couple years. From the men who performed the work, to the office staff, to owner,Jenny Arias, they all get 5 stars from me.
