Write a ReviewAnne is very patient and goes the extra mile!
Very pleased with my choice.
Anne was amazing. She showed up and revolutionized my rooms! Thank you Anne!
Anne has helped me de-clutter in preparation for our move and in getting rid of crap from our expensive apartment storage units. She's done a fabulous job all the services she offers and executes are done perfectly she's on time she's personable and I couldn't be happier. i plan on using her services forever.
Anne was great. Thanks!
It was a pleasure working with your family!
She'so done a good job for me so far. Nice personality
It's been a pleasure working with you to begin organizing your home. The work we are doing now will make downsizing next year a breeze!
Anne has been extremely helpful in not only organizing my basement, but helping me to finish unpacking from our move. She is friendly, courteous and prompt. She works with my schedule and saves me time by making my donation runs for me. She helps "push" me to be less of a packrat -- without actually being "pushy"! We have had about a half dozen sessions working together to continually improve my home.
Anne helped me to get my home based business organized. She helped to restructure my office in a more productive layout. She did a great job.
The organizer did not stop to ask my preferences. she unpacked and decided on locations that I had to change. Typically telling her what is important and what is not. She shook a box with a turntable in it and marked on it. I told her to stop and she kept on shaking it. I have an expert checking it for damage. Her method of moving computer equipment shows a lack of experience with carefully moving expensive equipment. Too many incidents hindered rather than helped the process. Her best contribution would have been to begin by talking about what I see as the problems instead of just diving in. My need is to plan my new place with the loss of closet space. She and I did not connect. There was too much pride in how she organizes things and no discussion with me on what are the important things to organize. Why do I put certain groups of things where I do? There are reasons. She proudly showed me that she puts umbrellas and canes in a tall round container. What about fitting my clothes into a walk-in closet that is smaller? What options are there (including donating things to charity), what decisions are there that I need to make? She did organize the unpacked boxes in the garage so that some people can walk around and get at all of them. However, I am not one of those people. She never asked if I could get at the boxes. I saw the results and not the process. Never had a chance to check it before she left. I appreciate what she did with the boxes in the garage and in my office. I hired a college student and together he and I arranged the boxes in the garage so I can get at them, unpacked well over a dozen of them, flattened them, began working on planning proper storage (fabric and yarn do not store well in the garage, boxed vases and other breakables do not belong in my office -- for example), assembled a laundry sorter and a new cabinet. Same amount of time. Now I know what is still left to be unpacked because i can actually get to the box, decide how important that is and move on from there. The college student and I unpacked and put the contents of the boxes where I actually use them. I hired her as a pro who would help me organize "stuff", given that I have less closet space & not a lot of furniture so I did not need her staging ability and cannot comment on that.
I am sorry you were not entirely pleased with the services I was able to provide in the 3 hours I was in your home. My helper and I created a sitting area where there was none, set up your desk and created paths among the boxes so you would not be in danger of tripping given your physical limitations. Once you have the carpets replaced and furniture put in its proper position I am sure you will find an organizer's services to be much more efficient. You have a lovely home with a lot of potential.
