Poolscape Design

James and his crew did an excellent job. Truly professional enjoyed working with them.

We hired James at Poolscape Design in July 2025 to design our garden area, plant new Palm Trees and new plantings for our garden. We worked with James to select the plants, trees and colors of flowers. He told us he will go to many nurseries until he finds the best specimens for us. We were disappointed at how tiny everything was. Even more frustrating was that we told him we wanted bright bold colors like reds and yellows and yet he brought and planted light white pink hibiscus, tiny butterfly bushes and he didn't bring several things we discussed. The closest he came to any color we asked for was the bright red Cannas - light orange. Even more frustrating is the butterfly bushes looked bad and were dead sticks within a few days. We asked James to consider how he could make things right and he didn't give us any good options. We can't recommend using Poolscape Design based on our experience.

James Nealy did an outstanding job renovating our front yard. He re-planted large beds, helped re-sod the grass, planted groundcover to cover barren spaces, and overall made our yard look great! And the rock border around a really large groundcover bed is perfect. James was prompt, efficient, very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely call him when we need our backyard updated!

James was great! A conscientious worker; shows up when he says he will, or lets you know otherwise. Has a good crew, but works along with them. Pays attention to details. Has good design ideas, but invites input. Well organized. We couldn't be happier with his work. I don't really know about "value for money" because we didn't shop around much, but his work ethic is very valuable!

James was a pleasure to work with. He took his time to understand our requirements and provided design and suggestions accordingly. The team was efficient and completed task as committed.

James was great right from the start to the finish! On time, trustworthy, knowledgeable and friendly. He worked with me on planning out the landscaping in the front and back of our house (grading, plant removal, install of plants, mulch/sod, gravel/stones around pool equipment).. Whether shade or sun, he had multiple options and ideas but also took my desires into account. When he said his crew would be there, they were always on time and did great work. His chosen suppliers for plants, dirt, mulch and sod were top notch. The plants and sod are already growing well (and itâ s only been 1 week). James took the time to teach me how to adjust/change sprinkler nozzles which was definitely not part of the project/quote. He was there every day of the project and made sure I was happy with the progress. I will definitely be using him again! Thank you for being a dependable, trustworthy man!
