Write a ReviewWorst company ever!!! The owner is untruthful and unprofessional! We paid to resurface the pool. He came and took our money, plugged up the drain, and would not answer our calls to finish the job. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They would not answer the phone...but on the rare occasion they do, the owner has his wife shield the calls because he is nonprofessional to talk to his customers and take responsibility.
Entire overhaul: deck, surface, pump, and tile. Looked great when completed at the end of February 2020. Cracks in the cantilever edge and nearby tile showed up two weeks after and kept growing. I have been calling them since, and all I get is lip service. I understand the pandemic is hurting everyones business, but I do not understand why Doug cannot simply drop by to evaluate the problem like he said he would. I am willing to pay for materials as this is not covered by a warranty. Like every contractor, once you make that final payment, they disappear. If you contract Pool Doctor, be prepared to wait and be patient.

Pool Doctor of Brevard remodeled my pool this summer. Prior to commencement we detailed exactly what they were going to do, and we agreed to a payment schedule. Even though it was a very rainy summer they started only 2 weeks late. Once they started, they completed the pool on schedule. The crews were all Pool Doctor employees and were very professional. They respected my property, cleaned up each day before leaving explained what they were doing and did exceptional work. I chose Pool Doctor because I have a 30-year-old pool that had been remodeled once in 2004. The pool design at that time was a pool deck poured on top of the concrete tank. Typically, the tank settles slightly each year causing a crack between the tank and deck. Pool Doctor has a unique solution for solving this problem. Also, the design then was using 4-inch tile with a 2-inch cap tile. The Pool Doctor replaced the 4 inch tile with a beautiful glass tile the cap tile with a concrete cantilever making the pool more modern. They installed the new 4-inch tile using a laser, so the tile is exactly level. The new pool surface is very uniform and smooth, and they put tile accents on the steps and swim out. When I applied for a new HELOC the notice of commencement needed to be removed from my title. They were very helpful in getting it removed and even called the bankâ s title agent to tell them what needed to be done. I am very happy with the workmanship, communication and professionalism of The Pool Doctor of Brevard. They were not the lowest price, but they were the only company able to fix the crack and install the cantilever at a reasonable price.
This is a small place to put my thoughts on this company. Had I been out of town for 6-8 months and come back to find the job they did, my only complaints would be that they left pipes unburied, a hole they dug by the skimmer has receded 6-7 inches and caused a hole in my pool deck, a large amount of debris was left for me to clean up, and several of pieces agreed on in the contract were not completed (e.g. staples, epoxy, and main drain) This company is a nightmare to work with, mostly because when they come to do the estimate, they are all "we have many highly skilled teams, we can start this in 3 weeks and should be done by the first of May", and then 4-5 weeks later they say, "we have a lot of demand for our services this time of year, we'll get there when we can". As 4th of July weekend approaches, more than 15 weeks later, they suddenly put water in the pool and disappear with very little cleanup. Had they told me in March that there was a chance they could take the whole summer, I would have waited until later in the year or found someone else. I think that is why they were untruthful when giving the estimate. I would have even been much happier if they would simply have returned my calls and given me better estimates as time went on and being done by May was clearly out of the question. In short, the pool finish and tile work is fabulous, but communications is almost non-existent their estimates have no basis in reality, and trying to get a valid estimate as the months wear on is fruitless.
