This contractor is very personable. I did not receive an invoice from him for the service call. I was told that I would receive an invoice via email; it has been 2 weeks since the work was done. I also feel that I overpaid am that I should have negotiated the cost of the work. The actual time spent performing the work was about an hour and was done on a Saturday. I ended up paying for about 3 hours of travel time while during which he was looking for the parts he needed to perform the work. In retrospect, I feel that I was ripped off and should not have paid for more than an hour of his travel time. The work performed was fine, but this contractor didn't seem to be very organized. I definitely feel like I overpaid and am disappointed that I have not yet received an invoice. Not very professional.

I charged for travel time because you had a specialized part that wasn't local that I had to hunt down. $320 for a Saturday call and 2 1/2 hours looking for the part I feel was very far! You email address provided was sent back as invalid. If you would like to resend it to me I'm more then willing to resend it.

My biggest fear was that I would hire someone that would simply push for me to buy a new furnace. Dave was able to identify and replace the needed part and save me a lot of money. Good character as well.
