Reviews
Write a Reviewgas furnace not working. tested heating element, found faulty. fixed on return call. works great now.
Very easy to make an appointment. They were very professional and it took them no time to do the installation.
This was our second positive experience with Pelham HVAC, I contacted them on a Saturday reaching the office staff who spent considerable time helping me trouble shoot a problem with the furnace and humidifier. A technician arrived the following Monday morning as promised and resolved the problem in a timely and efficient manner, pricing the job fairly. Their point of contact person proved to be invaluable. Pelham HVAC is the Contractor I intend to use when needed in the future.
Pelham Heating & AC, LLC responded to my post immediately after I sent it. After speaking with their representative I did not answer other callers. They got the job and performed well. as an Octogenarian it once again shows "AN EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM." I would call them first if I had a heating or AC problem
TT Lynton stated that project was completed by home advisor pro ( Pelham Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC) he mentioned they performed an excellent job and was very satified.
They called quickly and got the job done a quick as they could.
nice people, quick diagnosis of problem and done at a reasonable price.
Could not fix problem first time, asked to send out another tech. Tech was calling his boss on speakerphone and said Dont tell the home owner twice in a row. Dishonest and untrustworthy. This company asks for a check as soon as job is completed, they do not accept cards.
Pros: Family owned business. On-time and prepared with adequate equipment. Price seemed reasonable (no free estimates), paid $131 for one-hour service for which he walked around opened and checked numerous places to include several systems inside and out the home, basement ceiling for vents and attic. Cons: Gentleman could not answer a few of my questions. The information he provided compared to two other companies (which had free estimates ), did not coincide. options were limited, required a check instead of a credit card at the time of completion. Several hours later email invoice was sent to pay by credit card. The female representative seemed offended when asked for a gentlemans license and overly concerned about receiving immediate payment (for which she had every right).
The work was ok, but, the OEM Furnace Replacement Inducer Motor was charged $500 initially until I complained, then they dropped down to $250 (the same item and same part# is ~$50 to 80 on Amazon.com). I paid the part ($250) + 2hrs labor + tax = $508.35 for replace the inducer motor. I will not recommend to anyone!
