Reviews
Write a ReviewTruly appreciated Tom and his crew (Adam, Steve, Jordan and Dwayne) who worked very hard to get the job done in a timely fashion.A special "thank you" to Adam for being so conscientious regarding his work. So appreciated. Tom is a great guy who really cares about his crew. Won't hesitate to call again if needed.
The project entailed filling in an inround pool properly and grading/seeding area in order to place an aboveground pool in its place. Project was suppose to take 3-5 days. Project actually took over 2 weeks...contractor blamed weather and equipment breakdown. What was delivered was a finished project that was not properly filled in or graded, plus a tree that was gouged by the irresponsible use of a bobcat. After the first rain, the work area became a muddy mess and the graded area settled and formed a lake. The "new" dirt that was contracted to be used, was anything but new...it contained large rocks, pieces of discarded wood, and scraps of metal. When I attempted to call, text, and email the contractor, he ignored all. I really wonder how he obtained so many wonderful reviews, as my experience was one of frustration and dissatisfaction. Use this contractor at your own risk; I wish someone had warned me about him.
In reference to the negative review. Newman brothers demolition company fulfilled the contract. If Steve would like his yard Not to have so much water build up,he would need to install drainage pipes. Newman brothers demolition is a Demolition company Not a landscaping/drainage company. Steve also needs resloping done to his back yard. This would require 100 yards of more dirt. The recent heavy rains have affected everyone's yard throughout Massachusetts. The contract we had together was for pool removal! That's all.
Thomas and his crew were excellent and very qualified. I definitely got my money’s worth. I highly recommend him. They removed a second story deck from the back of my house ,Tom and his worker were great, they worked together like they have done this before.
Crew began work on time and worked hard to meet my schedule. Reacted well to any questions I had during the work. Very easy to work with and communicate with.
He has very good hard workers
Excellent job under trying conditions. Cleaned up work area and satisfied all parts of contract in a timely manner.
They took a clear bag of quarters and old money from our property. The worker admitted it and said they pick up stuff here and there in places they work in. I said you donÂ’t ask the home owner about what you decide to take? He said we take it instead of it getting thrown out. I said you thought we would throw out a bag of money? Who knows what else they took?
Its so funny that she has written this after the work has already been completed. We cleaned out the entire house of all the trash and junk there was dead animals in there the house was a disaster. the house was on the beach and was full of water damaged, mold and mildew. I charged her $1,300 for one days of work with four men crew in 106 degree heat She gave us $500 and withheld the $800. She said she did not know how to get us the $800 at the end of the job promising to send it through PayPal. Then she made this ridiculous excuse up accusing us of taking quarters so she could get out of paying the bill. My men worked hard, my men were very
They were completely unprepared to remove the tree. They didn't have a bucket truck and asked to borrow a ladder. Then they left the partially pulled out stump saying that was the best they could do. We had to dig it out ourselves. It was a joke.
First of all I would like to say we did an excellent job. We took down a tree that was falling over and in a terrible spot. The tree was leaning over the neighbors house. It was a miracle we got it down without damaging anything. The lady we had the contract with was very nice. We even hauled off junk they had at the house for free. I charged $450 and I gave them the nice birch wood. I could have sold it. The husband was upset because he thought stumps were included in the price. We had to explain to him on the phone that taking a tree down and removing a stump are 2 different jobs entirely.
The crew was pleasant, worked quickly and efficiently. The price was as quoted.
