Communication pre-appointment was clear --pre-arrival phone call, arrival time predication, etc. Repaired a section of almost-new carpet damaged by visiting psycho dog who clawed at carpet at threshold entering bathroom. We had extra carpet. Although I was not at home at the time of the repair (my husband was). Charles sent me a photo of the repair and thanked me for my business. It looks great. Our location is pretty remote for most service people so I was happy to find someone who was willing to do the work. I had sent Charles a photo of the damage prior to his arrival. I hoped that would help him prepare for the job. He performs cleaning and other services as well. I would definitely use Nice N Clean again.

Charles was very prompt and efficient!! He called the day before for confirmation and called to tell us he would be there sooner than our appointment time. Gave us some excellent advise on carpet problems and things to use. Spots on our carpet that we thought would never come out are now gone!!!

He wasn't able to quote ahead of time, but when he came onsite and measured, his rates were ridiculously high. We ended up not completing the job with him. He had put down presoak cleaners on a set of stairs, a loft area, and traffic areas in a bedroom and charged us $150. His quote for the same spaces was $468. Roughly $1 per square foot.

Facts! Cheryl scheduled the job! Have never met Cheryl! She said her brother would be there. Arrived 10 min. early. Talked with brother. Pre inspected and provided up front pricing! Brother authorized work!! Once set up, enzymes were applied to cat urine areas. Applied a pre conditioner. Brother later on, had Cheryl on the phone. Cheryl said to stop work, due to cost!! I kindly did so. Brother offered to cover my cost! I told him my minimum fee is $150.00! He gladly paid me. I broke down my equipment and headed back to my shop! A one hour drive, one way! Carpet cleaning estimate: 628 sqft $238.00 Steps $150.00 Pet odor $75.00 Total $463.00
