It was a difficult job; blasting an 1850s exterior doorframe and original chimney. They tried a variety of blasting methods in order to scar the wood as little as possible and finally decided to use a heat gun, which worked well ,Shawn and his foreman kept going until I was satisfied with the job. They even stayed an extra day to finish properly.

The owner was such an angry person that I could not even have a conversation with him about the low quality of work. He said *just wait until they are finished**. However, parts of the job were finished and he did not even want to look at it with me. At $1,300 a day, I could not afford to **wait and see** with no idea of how many days it would even take! It was a big job and he seemed to always know better than me. He said he was just helping me out! Not at $1,300 a day! I have had a new company come in since and they said they would need to do the work that was said to be finished all over again and that I had paid too much.

Response from Company:

This owner contacted us after working with two other contractors walked off the job. She calls us on Thursday asking if we could be there on Friday. We ran out to her house and found cardboard laying all over her yard with newspapers mixed in along with 50-60 shrubs, trees, and plants. We told her we would drill a hole for her to plant trees, plants & shrubs. She ordered 5 yards of mulch a day before we got there and wanted us to make flower beds, play area, She had no plan on what she wanted and ask us to work for one day. Please see the text message included from her. We went out of our way to help and worked for eight hours until the rain Came.

  9. Identity Verification (SSN)
    HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
  10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
    We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
