I rarely write reviews, but I am very impressed with the job Joe did cleaning my upholstery and carpet. He really knows his business and he's a very nice, fair and honest man who's easy to work with. I highly recommend him!

I was very impressed with the work Joe did on our vents and dryer back in 2013 and when I called back today there seems to be no answer on the phone.....it keeps ringing with no voicemail. Can anyone tell me what happened to them. When I checked Google to see if they had another # there is no other listing ??

This company failed to complete the work after he was paid fully based on the contract. Despite my many emails and telephone call. The company put all call to a voice mail saying the message is full also when I call the Owners personal cell phone number he would hang up as soon as I said Joe this is Dr Clarke or the call would just go to busy signal. I am about to report him to the NYS for removal of his business license

I had a shower pan leak and decided to hire IE due to the good reviews. Joe was nice, but ended up being a terrible communicator. Our first contract stated a rebuild of demolished areas. Joe did not read the contract, which lead to a lot of confusion. I did not make IE rebuild because of the unskilled crew - foreman was lazy. IE expanded the scope of work (second contract) to demolish the bathroom to ensure no mold was in subfloor. No mold found. The crew showed up irregularly. Our job was always lowest priority. The great promises were never-ending. I lost $6000+ Avoid!

The project ended up being more expensive than we had thought, but the quality of the work was great. I felt that Joe explained all the parts of the process very well and was concerned not only with getting rid of the mold but with preventing it from returning. I liked that they cleaned up very thoroughly every day and then at the end of the project. My one complaint is that communication was not as good as it could have been. Proposals for later parts of the project would be sent late in an afternoon with a reply requested almost immediately. Some days I wasn't sure when workmen would be showing up. But overall very pleased.

I will be better able to evaluate Indoor Environmental after the project is completed but my experience to date has been positive

Joe at IECS was very patient throughout the process. IECS was the first company that I spoke to, and Joe took the time to educate me on mold, remediation, and what to look out for with other vendors. I spoke with 20 others and everything he said was spot-on. He was also willing to give a free visual inspection and quote without hundreds of dollars worth of air tests. I rent, and getting my landlord to sign-off took more than three weeks, and again Joe was very patient. He told me how to best contain the situation in the interim. When they performed the work, they were thorough and very considerate of me and my home. Great service.

Excellent work done, very professional. A bit expensive but really worth it considering how on top of things the team was.
