August 2022 my wife hired Mariah for an in-home consultation to help with arranging our living room/dining room area. She gave us wonderful ideas and told us to order the sectional she recommended through her email account with Crate and Barrel for a nice discount. We ordered the sectional on September 2, 2022, with the knowledge that we would not receive it until January 2023. During the months between September and January, my wife contacted Mariah to hire her for an additional in home consultation. There were lots of voicemails left and unanswered texts. When my wife finally did get her on the phone they seemed unable to find a date that was satisfactory for both of them. After additional attempts at scheduling another consultation Mariah said she had a family emergency and she would get in touch as soon as things got back to normal. She never got back to us. Finally in January 2023 my wife called Crate and Barrel and spoke to Louis or Lewis, and was told that there had been some sort of problem with the payment and when speaking with Mariah on the phone they had been disconnected. After no response from Mariah, Crate and Barrel cancelled the order for our sectional, IN SEPTEMBER OF 2022!!!!!! So obviously, do not hire this woman. Thank you.

I am glad that you liked my design ideas I provided for you. However, I am truly sorry about the other part of your experience. Unfortunately, shortly after we had ordered the sofa sectional from Crate and Barrel, my mother suffered a devastating heart attack. As the only relative who could be her advocate in the healthcare system and guide her through intensive care, rehabilitation, setbacks, and put her on the road to recovery, I needed to devote most of my time to keeping my mother alive. I did explain this to your wife and that the situation would make scheduling difficult while I dealt with this family health emergency. As per my usual practice, the order was placed in your wife name, using her credit card, and I forwarded the receipt to your wife to give full access and control as to the status of your order. In terms of the missed call from Crate and Barrel, it occurred during the period when I was fully absorbed with my mother health, and I apologize for that. I did try and connect with your wife to address the situation when my mother had stabilized but was unable to reach her. Ultimately, I hope that you found a suitable sofa that would fit nicely in your home.

Mariah is absolutely excellent at her craft. Her attention to detail, ability to pair colors, and space planning is impeccable. We started using her for our home, and recently added in an office space; both look spectacular. She has exceeded expectation in all projects to date, and I’m sure she’ll bring the same results to your residential/commercial space.

This young lady is pleasant, understanding and full of energy. My wife and I feel as though we are working with a friend who understands exactly what we want to accomplish. She has already done a perfect job of obtaining furniture, advising us on fabrics and much, much more. We highly recommend her.

Still in the middle of the project but Mariah is a lovely person and once you get use to how fast she moves she is great. Good ideas and easily discerns what you like or don't like.

I am so happy we found Mariah. She set up an appointment with us right away, came on time and had wonderful suggestions to give our house some simple updates (flooring, paint, tile) while reusing some furniture. Her energy is very upbeat and positive and I am looking forward to working with her on this project.
