Macias Upgrades

Do not hire!! Bailed in us after we paid him $56k. Tried to extort us for another $17k. Says heâ s licensed and bonded and heâ s NOT!! The wife is very unprofessional and a bully. My home was gutted and left bare. We lost a whole stand up freezer of meat and only found out because of our cameras. They moved the freezer and either the freezer was not plugged back in or they put too much on one outlet. But never mentioned it to us. We had moved out of our home for the renovations and once the money stopped they lost it. The wife came in quit the job and then began with all sorts of threats. All which have been recorded. Inspectors have inspected the job and verified that only 10% of the work was completed for $56K. Be careful and do your research. Stay away and do not hire this company!!

Gabriel Macias was referred by The Tile Store. He did not finish my job, the glass enclosure does not work, the finish out was terrible and he ripped me off for $5,500, He lies, he cheats and he does shoddy work. He also stole collectors item pictures from my house and ruined my backyard. RUN, RUN, RUN FROM THIS CONTRACTOR. He will ask you for an advance, DO NOT GIVE IT TO HIM AND WITHHOLD SOMETHING UNTIL HE COMES BACK TO FIX THE PUNCH LIST. He is crooked and a thief. His work is terrible I could go on and on. He refuses to pay me back and he refuses to answer my call for help. He takes your deposit goes and cashes it and then 3 days before the job starts makes up lies and refuses to come back. PLEASE DO NOT GET SCAMMED AND ROBBED LIKE I DID. HE IS ON THE BRINK OF BANKRUPTCY AND ROBBING CUSTOMERS TO PAY FOR OTHER JOBS.

Gabriel Macias and his crew did a fantastic job! From beginning to end, he arrived on time, completed the work in a timely manner. Showed attention to detail, was attentive to the work and care on the work being done. Very professional and reasonably priced for the work. I have another project to do at my house, and I will certainly call Macias Upgrades for the job. As well as recommend him to family and friends. Very highly recommended for contracting work!

My family and I are pleased that we went with Gabriel when it came to tiling our kitchen floor. We really wanted to get our floors done weeks before my daughter's birthday and we wanted it done right. Gabriel was honest and brought is wealth of knowledge. He is very humble, honest, and not pushy. Most importantly, he kept his word throughout the project and showed up the day after the agreement upon estimate to work. His crew and him kept the project clean and didnt try to rush for a quick buck. Gabriel made sure everything was A1 quality. He is a dependable person and my family and I look forward to working Macias upgrades for more home projects down the line.

Gabriel and his crew were great.. His guys did a wonderful job installing the tile.. I couldn't have been happier with the finish product.. Gabriel is very reasonable with his pricing and I will definitely be using Macias Upgrades in the future.

We used Macias Upgrades to install backsplash in our kitchen. Gabe swung by the house on the day we got connected with him, and gave us a super reasonable price. $150 less than what other contractors were giving us. He and his team showed up 5 min early on the scheduled date to make sure they could start on time. They were extremely friendly when completing the work, and made sure to check with us to make any decisions on how we want the tile to lay. We would definitely hire them again next time we need work done.

I used Macias Upgrade for a backsplash update in my kitchen. I had decided on a Mosaic tile and I couldn't be happier with the end result. My experience with Gabriel was great. He should up when he said he would and removed what I had before, asked for decision making crossroad to ensure our satisfaction. He stayed until job was completed and cleaned up everything. He was friendly and really kind/professional. And pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

These guys are A1 quality. Gabe very professional and really works around your schedule to meet your expectations. Gabriel is a very nice gentlemen. Gabriel and his crew are professional, punctual, respectful, and efficient. They do what they say whey will do, which is different than other service providers. The price is reasonable, and the work is performed by artisans and craftsmen. Gabriel goes above and beyond expectations. He loaded my excess product for the job in his truck and took it back to the supplier for a refund. He even triple checked the refund to make sure I was getting the right refund. Who else would do that?? NOBODY!!! Gabriel is the best!!!!!!!!!!!
