Jim did a totally professional job on my drywall project; the taping and paint job were excellent. Jim is from the "old school" where quality, reliability and performance take priority. He brought drop cloths and a vacuum; one couldn't tell that a wall was ever torn down, taped and repainted. By the way, his norm is putting on 2 coats of paint. Furniture and pictures were put back into place. While waiting for the sparkle to dry (on the numerous coats put on), he re-screened one of our patio doors. He was on time and even texted me that he was on his way with an ETA, which he kept. His pricing was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Jim Lavin for any handyman project you have. Thanks for a job well done!!!

I am very happy with the work he did repairing my bathroom ceiling. He was prompt and professional. I am planning on hiring for several more projects.

He made an appointment to come out for an estimate..did not just determine cost from a few pictures. Repaired ceilings in my kitchen and laundry room due to previous leaky upstairs bathrooms. He checked for mold, none was present but, was prepared to treat in case mold did exist. After repairing the two locations, painted them to more closely match the rest of the room (we luckily had matching ceiling paint). He covered everything, taped paper to the floor to prevent dust, plaster and paint from making a mess. Cleaned up after he was done..A very nice gentleman. We will hire him again as we continue to make repairs around our house.

Did Great work fixing my old, sagging bay window. He ran into a few unforeseen problems with the job, but fixed them quickly and professionally. Would hire him again.

Showed up promptly for estimate and and project. Not only did he replace the previous weatherstripping on our front entry door(just replaced by another person 1 year ago), but corrected the causative issues responsible for the part failing after just one year. Thorough, professional, and very neat. Final cost was as given in his estimate, which was very reasonable. Would definitely hire him again.
