Josh got back to me super-fast after I placed the call, and came in the very next day to assess. I had previously hired a mold inspector, and his and Josh's assessments agreed. What had happened was that when I had the wet stuff torn out, I disturbed the mold infestation, which actually made it spread more and resulted in an air quality problem along with the mold itself. If I had called either of them before taking action, I could have saved myself time and money by taking precautions before I spread mold spores through my house. Josh was very responsive about answering all my questions and telling me more about mold, and he was honest about what parts of my problem he could and couldn't address right away. I will keep having water intrusion till I get my yard regraded, so if he took more expensive and extensive measures immediately, I'd only have the problem recur. He recommended a solution for my immediate problem and also went over what I could expect and what I'll need done after I get the water taken care of. He definitely solved my immediate problem (the air quality) and now I have a plan to handle the rest in the spring. Plus I learned more about mold from him! He truly does enjoy his work and he believes in educating his clients.

Joshua was wonderful. He came to look at the situation at our home (i.e., in the finished part of the basement), and recommended a comprehensive solution that was excellent from a time, cost and materials perspective. Joshua had excellent customer service; completed the job thoroughly and accurately; took great care of the furnishings and accessories in the basement; and was quite efficient and effective. My wife and I have no reservations recommending JCM Mold Solutions, and we'd certainly leverage them again.

JCM- Josh was on time for for initial review of project. He explained everything fully an abswered all me questions. We set up date a d he was on time. He did an outstanding job,and I'm very pleased with his work. I woukd definitelt hire him again.

No comment provided. If I could give him a 0 star I would! What a poor service and experience! We hired Josh for a mold remediation in our attic and not only did he do the worst job by covering up the mold with a gray spray, he was giving us attitude when asked any questions. He gave us a quote then increased it by $600 once he arrived! He spent 3 hours only and was in and out! Upon a home inspection done afterwards that failed, due to mold presence throughout the attic. A mold assessor sent samples and lab results confirmed positive for Mold presence! We requested a full refund! If you ever had work done by this contractor, I suggest you have a mold assessment done prior and afterwards! Which is a NYS Law that we were not aware of! He did the job without a prior report, so he can make a quick buck and be in and out! Never again!

Josh was a very knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasant gentleman. I had questions, he took the time to answer or explain them. My husband and I very pleased. Would hire him again in a second.

He got rid of the mold and then sprayed on a gray-colored mold resist paint. However, I don't feel as though he cleaned the walls properly before spraying on the paint as in many spots the paint clung to lint and dust so the paint flaked off the walls. For the amount of money he charged, I felt I should have gotten a better job. It felt like he was in and out in a flash. He told us to keep the door closed to the basement area he treated and not go in the area for several hours. So, it wasn't until much later that I saw the job he did.
