Efficient and clean up after the project finished

HomeDesign did a complete remodel of my condo: kitchen, bathroom, and living areas. Including cabinetry, flooring, and countertops. They were accommodating to my schedule. My renovated condo now looks like a brand new place.

HomeDesign did an excellent job with transforming our dated kitchen into a bright, modern space. They were very responsive to our questions when planning our remodel and flexible with our schedule for starting the work. They even got the whole project done a week sooner than expected. Their price was very reasonable for this area and they didn't try to sell us unnecessary upsells like some of the other contractors we contacted. 

Home Design did an incredible job on our kitchen renovation, which included demolishing a wall that separated our old kitchen from the living/dining rooms to make an open concept floor plan. They were competitive with their pricing, as well as honest, reliable, and patient with our questions. The fact that they left the worksite clean and tidy each day was an added bonus. John and his team were quick to provide solutions to various problems that arose, such as re-working the scope of work to install a beam in place of the load-bearing wall. Also, due to COVID-19, one of our cabinet manufacturers unexpectedly went out of business, leaving us without cabinets for our kitchen island in the middle of the project. Home Design provided us with various options so that we could have a completed kitchen. We were extremely happy with the finished product and would highly recommend them.

We recently worked with Home Design to completely remodel our kitchen and highly recommend their work. We found Home Design after researching reputable kitchen remodelers on several websites. When we first contacted them, John reached out promptly to set up a visit to our home for an initial consultation. During the consultation, he offered several ideas for how we could restructure and reorganize our outdated kitchen. From there, we worked with Home Design to design a completely restructured kitchen area. It was a large project, requiring a full-scale demolition, entirely new cabinets and countertops, new appliances, new flooring, adding a gas line for a gas range, and electrical work. John and Marcus offered an initial design, and they were very responsive when we spent several weeks going back and forth adjusting the design, moving appliances, etc. They worked with us to craft a design we were very happy with and implemented our requested changes well throughout the design process. They offered a very competitive price that respected the original budget we discussed with them. We started demolition on our old kitchen right as the COVID-19 pandemic was picking up steam in the Washington metro area, and after demolition was complete we asked Home Design to pause the project for several months because we were not comfortable having contractors in our home. John and team were supportive of this decision; over the next three months, they reached out periodically to see if our calculus had changed, offering ideas for safety measures we could implement, but never pressuring us to make a decision we were uncomfortable with. When Virginia moved to a phased reopening in June, we were excited to get back to work with them. It took their crew about three weeks to complete the project from there. We found overall communication before and during the project to be good. Our main contractor on-site, Eddy, was great at communicating what supplies we needed to provide and asking questions to make sure the work was exactly as we wanted it. We absolutely love the final results. John and Marcus recommended a gorgeous line of white cabinets, and we chose a beautiful quartz from their showroom, which has a great selection. Their crew ably installed all the features of the kitchen: recessed lighting, pendant lighting, under-cabinet lighting, sink and faucet, appliances, and cabinet hardware. Overall, we highly recommend Home Design and are so thrilled with the results of our kitchen remodel. We look forward to working with them on future projects!

We had a complete kitchen renovation because of a leak we had in our dishwasher that caused major issues. We were referred to Home Design Inc and could not be happier. They were super responsive, attentive, and easy to communicate during the entire process. They also were very knowledgeable on topics that we didn't know much about because this is our first home renovation. Because of COVID-19, the situation was extra stressful, and they helped make the renovation go as smoothly as happening. Highly recommend!

We recently completed a complete renovation of our kitchen including the demolition of our pantry to open up the space, as well as three bathrooms. We could not be happier with the results. The design and subsequent modifications were all completed as desired. The crew's effort, quality, and diligence were exceptional. As we explained to John and 'E,' our only frustration (and most projects generally bring many), was that communication sometimes fell short between those two gentlemen as well as with the crew when there were changes. That said, we will certainly go back to them for future projects. None of us are perfect, and they were all honest and dependable.
