3 years ago my job transfer me to another location. Instead of selling my house I decided to rent it out instead. When I finally got the transfer back to Fort Myers I realized what a mistake it was. My house was trashed. I had to redo EVERYTHING, kitchen, both bathrooms, flooring, baseboards drywall, EVERYTHING. I hired Heape Construction to put my house back together and Jeff and his crew were great. Their finished product was even better than it was the day I moved in. They did it in a timely manner and the price was right! I highly recommend Heape Construction and if need be I will hire them again immediately!!

UPDATE 3/28: As an add on to my prior review - after having my second bathroom shower torn out to be redone - it was discovered that no shower pan was installed and improper waterproofing was applied to the walls. I now have to tear out the shower in the main bathroom as well so proper waterproofing can be applied. Do not hire this company. They will short cut the process to save a few bucks for themselves. ORIGINAL COMMENT: They were hired to update two bathrooms in my home. The agreement - I buy materials and they supply the labor to do the work. The problem - the workers have no respect for the materials or other personal property. Items were damaged or broken and not replaced or repaired. There is no accountability from the contractor for the damage his workers caused. The tile workmanship is horrific. During the course of the project they damaged the bathroom vanity (twice), outdoor firepit, bedframe - those are the major items. Also broke a light fixture. They plumbed the master bathroom incorrectly and helped themselves to drinks in my garage refrigerator. Any extra materials disappeared from the job site. Their vehicles stained my driveway due to leaking fluids. Ultimately I told them not to return and have had to hire others to redo/finish their work. I have used this company over the years without issue, but now they refuse to make things right. I would not hire them again.
