As a returning customer, they were professional. When they arrived they went straight to work removing the old sliding door we had. Finishing up, they cleaned up after the work was completed. In all, it took about 2-3 hours.

It went good. They were on time. They did a good work and they followed up. They cleaned up. Their prices were definitely reasonable compared to the others. I would recommend them and I would use them in the future. The only thing I didn't like is that they didn't take credit cards.

Overall it was not a bad experience.  The sales pitch was very persistent, and since having the roofing work done we've had numerous sales pitch calls for more work, in spite of telling them that it will be at least another year before we've paid off the most recent job and will be able to have more work done, up to and including having sales people show up on our doorstep despite no-soliciting signs.  However, since the roof was leaking only in spots, they were very flexible about only doing part of the roof, vs the whole thing at once, and in the end the cost and financing charges were less than estimated, so on that account I am happy. That said however, the actual work was a mix of good and bad.  They showed up early, which I'll call neutral, since I am NOT a morning person, and was rudely awakened by the pounding of hammers on my roof.  We were unable to trim back all of the trees overhanging the sunroom roof, and they were able to trim them back while they were on the roof, which was great.   The bad: we were promised that they "cleaned up" after themselves, including using high powered magnets to pick up all the roofing nails from the job - and that they did NOT do.  Instead the workers (migrant workers - not one of them spoke more than pidgen English) used their hands to pick up the lose nails, and when I asked about the magnets they nodded, so I left them to it, and assumed the job would get done.  However, we are now almost 6 months out from the job being done and I just today stepped on yet ANOTHER roofing nail on my deck right behind the sunroom.  Overall, I'll give them a B - but be warned, they are pushy and they don't necessarily do what they say when it comes to clean up.

window installation was fabulous.  Very clean, quick, answered any and all questions.  We also purchased siding, but we weren't quite ready for the installation.  They had to hold our materials in the warehouse for many months... once we were finally ready, we scheduled a date but then weather set us back again.  The frustrating part was that they needed it to be dry for a couple days, with NO forecast of rain... so we were pushed back and then pushed back again.  The last time they wanted to push us back 3 weeks... at that point, our house was half exposed due to some other work.  We told them that was unacceptable and they were able to squeeze us in.  The crew that came out was excellent... they did great work, cleaned up nicely, answered all questions, explained options... We had a couple issues and another crew came out and quickly resolved them.  I have no complaints except I felt the warehouse and the crew didn't always communicate well... other than that, I would use them again and I would recommend them.

Our house has a large roof space and is very high-pitched. Although we thought our old roof was installed correctly, when Paramount took off the old siding, we saw that there had been no flashing installed around our dormers, and the chimney area had little flashing. (No wonder we had a few leaks! ) Not only did Paramount take time to make the flashing just right, but they also installed special material where rooflines join each other. The work done resulted in a beautiful roof (to match our beautiful siding which they also installed). We will continue to return to Paramount Builders for all future services. In this day, it's unusual to find such a personable, responsive business that also provides quality materials and workmanship! I was actually surprised to find out how large this company really is, because it operates like a smaller one that recognizes and takes care of its customers. They sell high-quality products, so their prices may be a little higher. Don't let that scare you away; their warranties and willingness to return to fix anything is worth every penny!
