Reviews
Write a ReviewThe project turned out great. I was pleased with the work done on my bathroom. Andrew replaced regular tub with a whirlpool tub and tore out shower walls to studs then replaced walls and tiled the whole area.
Thank you for the review!
Felix was great very polite and did a great job repairing a bad taping job from previous contractor. Very neat and cleaned up leaving everything spotless
Thank you - So glad we could help you!
Had to wait for arrival longer than expected, but service was well worth the wait.
Thank you!
Hired them to install curtains. Handyman seemed unsure of what he was doing. Took several hours to install 3 rods. He finally mentioned that he did not have much experience installing curtain rods. He left with the job unfinished and returned two days later at which point he seemed a bit more confident. Work turned out ok though not exactly how I wanted. Will not be using handypro again
We are sorry this experience didn't meet your expectations. The anchors that came with your curtain rod weren't sufficient to support the weight of your curtains. The craftsman had to do some drywall patching that necessitated a return visit, as well as obtaining some alternative anchors. Please let us know if we can adjust something for you.
We needed help putting together furniture. Handyman Pro gave us cost upfront and the amount of time it would take to complete the work. He was quick and did a wonderful job. What would have taken me 4-5 hours took him 1.5 hours.
Thank you!
I hired HandyPro to install attic baffles. I received an estimate for $328, including materials. The worker was ill prepared to the job - he borrowed my ladder and flashlight as he did not have his own. He did not have a tool to pull back the installation so he had to run up to the store to get one. When I saw that he was failing to staple the baffles to the roof, I informed him he was doing it incorrectly. He indignantly advises me that he had never done it that way before and that he did not include it in his estimate. He further advises me that it is going to take him a lot longer to do the job and that now he had to double his original estimate. He proceeds to give me an ultimatum of either agreeing to double the estimate or he walks away. I get that installing attic baffles is a dirty job. But, he had the opportunity to inspect the areas to be worked on prior to providing an estimate and to see what tools and how much time it would be take to complete the job. He failed to do this. Feeling somewhat in a bind, I agreed to a change order provided that he actually to the job right and staple the baffles to the roof. Of course, he did not have a staple gun. So, I had to give him that, too. Turns out, it didn't take him nearly as long as he thought it would (he even indicated at one point that he would need to come back another day to complete). So, he said he would "knockoff a couple of hours" from the change. In short, he was working from approximately 9:30 to 2:30 including a trip up to the store and for one smoke break. Ended up charging me $582 (original estimate was $328) for the job, including materials. This equates to roughly $83/hour for labor (roughly $80 for materials). On the plus side, he did not fall through my ceiling. And, the baffles appear to be properly installed (I have not had the opportunity as of yet to get a closer inspection, but it looks okay from a distance).
We contacted the customer to clarify the change order was for additional work to remove insulation from his soffit vent areas that was preventing proper air flow. The material he had us purchase cost more than he initially thought, as well. We don't have set hourly rates since we do a wide variety of work.
Raul and Joe were very good carpenters. They did an amazing job fixing the stairs and adding a handrail. They also fixed a window for us. Very nice gentlemen. Cleaned up when they were finished. i would hire them again for a project!
The small paint job has lots of spots missed,I told the painter about the missed area, and he said it just looks that way because its still wet.Well its been more then a week,I can still see missed spots.
Thanks for informing us of the problem. We have a one year warranty on our work that covers anything like this. We'll contact you to arrange for the craftsman to stop by to take care of this at no charge. Update: We connected with the customer and addressed his concerns
Some confusion from the office when linking up the worker for the job. The installer was very competent and curtious!
Thanks for your feedback - I'll pass this info on to our scheduler
I had several small jobs, all finished in a timely manner and we'll. I had a walkway done, just beautiful. Raul is wonderful.
