Reviews
Write a ReviewThe quality of the work is unacceptable. Had to hire somebody else to finish the job and redo work that was done. I was told it would be best if I picked up materials otherwise there would be extra charges for that. I would NOT recommend this company.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad we were finally able to connect to bring your concerns to a resolution. This customer hired us based on an estimate we provided for a defined scope of work. After we started the job they wanted to add substantially to the scope of work but rejected a change order. The manager made several calls to the customer to assist, none of which were returned.
The work was good.
They were will to work around my hectic schedule when doing the installation. They picked up the product and brought it to our home. They even replaced a piece of our trim that they had to unexpectedly remove due to the door’s width.
Did what I needed and quickly.

Came on appt. date and did a good job.
Thank you!
This was a tough rating. While Handy Pro as a company has solid staff and great customer service, the subcontractors they use are unreliable and poor communicators. The homeowners missed several days of work waiting on the subs to show up for work. After several late arrivals, no shows, and delayed projects, I contacted the owner himself and he addressed the problems promptly. I would still recommend this company, but at the first sign of a bad sub, call Handy Pro directly.
Thank you for the feedback. The majority of our craftsman are HandyPro employees, but we do work with subcontractors on a long term basis to help on certain jobs. We hold them accountable to the same quality and customer service standards as our employees. Since the house was vacant, the craftsman was communicating separately with both the homeowner and a third party to arrange times for access, leading to missed communications. We have taken action to ensure jobs such as this go more smoothly.
