Reviews
Write a ReviewSuper good experience and very pleased with the service. Robert and his partner did a great job. They finished all of my tasks quickly and had all the right hardware to do the job. They also cleaned up any debris when finished. Highly recommended!
They were excellent and were very knowledgable. Really liked them. I will definitely use them again.
On time and quality work.
Shows up on time ready to start. Overall very knowledgeable and straight forward.
Fantastic work. Hired for some repair needs in our restaurant. Jobs were completed with excellent outcomes, all work was done as expected. Very professional and knowledgable. WIll be using for all of our maintenance jobs and projects. Communication was great and was able to follow up throughout the process and kept us up-to-date. Very professional on-site and work was all completed when promised. Nice to have good people you can count on!
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your business and look forward to working with you in the future!
Robert is top notch. I got 4 estimates and his by far was the fairest. He responded to my HomeAdvisor request within a few hours, came out the next day and gave me an estimate and started the work almost immediately. He kept me informed every step of the way and the quality of the work fat exceeded my expectations. I will be using him in the future for all my home repair needs.
Thank you for the review. We look forward to working with you in the future.
Came over on Nov. 1st to give us an estimate on a variety of projects . The going rate for handyman is about 35.00 per hour . We looked at a project for taking out five plywood bookshelves and some wood I wanted removed from a small area on the wall . He said he could give me a good discounted rate if I let him put a few things from a shed he was working on from another client as it would save him a trip . I explained we had to pay 250.00 each time we emptied the dumpster . He said he could do the two projects for around 175.00 and said he could come on Monday . He then called me back later that day and said he would come on Saturday the 2nd around 12 noon. He seemed very eager for some reason and now I know it is because he planned to dump off a bunch of items in our dumpster. He came over when I was not home yet as I was finishing at Home Depot. He called and I told him I was running a few minutes late , and asked him to start on the bookshelves first and 2 please stop on the wall if it was doing any damage to the wall. While I was gone, instead of starting he took this time to unload a huge amount of items that filled half our dumpster including heavy sheets of metal , bicycles , paint, lawn movers and possibly some toxic chemicals or gasoline as the dumpster smelled very strong of chemicals . Again I was not home yet and he did not ask specific permission from me or clarify any details before loading this large amount of items into the dumpster while I was not there to approve (or not in this case) . When I arrived , I had not realized he had put so many items in our dumpster . My baby was asleep and I was focused on her. At this time he had most of the shelves out and they seemed to come off the wall very easy with only a screw or two. It probably took about 30 minutes to 1 hour ( to be VERY generous with time) It was hard to tell as I imagine most of his time had been spent on unloading his van into our dumpster. The next project was to take some wood off the wall - This probably took him 20-30 minutes, let's say 1 hour at most. Wainscoting panels about three feet tall. Maybe 15-20 feet wide ( total ) of 3 foot tall wood, so a very small area. He did this very quickly while I was away with my daughter. The panels were glued to the wall, so he just ripped them off. By the time I checked on the work, they were already ripped off most of the main hallway section. The wall did not look very good (tons of glue marks and a few chunks of dry wall ) and we had specifically discussed ( when he called me before that same day ) about stopping to check in me before proceeding if there were any questions or damage being caused. Again my daughter was sleeping in the next room, so I kept coming back and forth to talk to him and I was focused on her . In about 10 minute he was done with the wainscoting removal project . Handyman prices on home builder are around $35.00 x 2 hours. so these small projects would have been around $70.00 especially if it was a 'special price'. He came over to my area and I paid him the $175.00 even though I was thinking that the work hardly took any time, it was simple labor ( not technically skilled ) and 175.00 seemed to be very high for 1-1.30 hour. I did not look in the dumpster and he never showed me. Later my husband came home and he could smell a strong order coming from our dumpster. He showed me that this guy had filled half the dumpster with heavy and possibly toxic items. We proceeded to call Robert many times in a very polite way explained that we were not allowed to have paint and other liquids in the dumpster or heavy sheets of metal that would cause us to go over our weight limit and end us costing us more than the $250.00 to haul away the dumpster. We continued to try and get in touch with him to come to an agreement (or have him remove the items) and he has not returned our calls., even ...
In any line of work, it is impossible to please everyone all of the time. However, I feel the need to personally respond to this review as my customers are very rarely dissatisfied. Renee and I discussed both of the jobs she needed to be completed. During our initial discussion, she said that she had already received a quote from another company for $175.00 to complete just one of the 2 jobs she needed done. I mentioned to her that I would do both jobs for the $175.00 if she allowed me to use the dumpster she had onsite, and she agreed. I completed both jobs, she inspected both and indicated they were completed to her satisfaction and paid me
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We look forward to doing business with you in the future.
They maintained scheduled appointment time and were very accommodating with the installation of fans and medicine cabinets inside my home. It was evident that the quality of their work was important and they ensured we were satisfied with the results. They also removed any boxes and debris upon leaving the home. Will definitely continue to use their services in the future.
Thank you so much it was a pleasure working with you. We look forward to doing business with you in the future.
