Reviews
Write a ReviewGuardian is a company that advertises itself being a better construction experience with 100% customer satisfaction. In my experience, this means lies from their salesman and underwhelming results, with customer satisfaction taking a back seat to the bottom-line of the company. Andrew their salesman lied through his teeth to get the sale. Once the down payment was made, he disappeared, refusing to answer basic questions. Their office staff could not get me an estimated start date within a month of when they actually did start, giving contradictory dates 3 times in a single day. I spent more time managing the project than their PM Kevin. I had to insist over a half-dozen times that the product was being installed incorrectly only to be ignored. Escalations to Joe the manager were fruitless, showing a true lack of customer focus and only offering solutions that would not hurt their bottom line. After supplying their contractors with the wrong sized nails, they blamed their contractors for installing the product incorrectly. In the end, most of the siding had to come off and go back up. I am certain much of it is still wrong but the constant lies and lack of throughput over the 5 weeks it took them to complete a simple siding project was nothing short of overwhelming. I am still picking up nails and cigarette butts, and trying to save my trampled perennials and regrow multiple swaths of grass they killed.
Mr. and Mrs. F[Consumer name withheld at their request], We sincerely apologize for anything any of us have done that may have made you feel this way. Please give us a call to discuss anything that was not completed to your satisfaction. We are confused as to the substance of these accusations since the last contact we have had with you was at the Final walk thru meeting upon completion of your project when together, we completed the Zero Defects checklist with you and you signed off to the acknowledgement that you were satisfied with the touch ups and final job check punch list at which time you gave us the final payment. The intention of the Zero Defects Final Completion step process is to ensure that both you and Guardian can close out the project as 100% completed and eliminate any potential dissatisfaction or miscommunications. The Zero Defects document confirms a walk-around of the entire house was done, and wall by wall each item of the installation was reviewed with yourself, Jim and Emily, Guardian Management, the project supervisor, and the project foreman. A punch-list of items was developed and agreed to as far as what needed to be done and was completed at no additional cost. Additionally, you were given free gutter and fascia replacement, that were never noted or part of the original contract. We also agreed to change out your electrical light block flashing to a different style of light block, and adjust some of the light blocks to accommodate your electrician?s unusual requests. The agreed to repairs and additional free items were completed by Guardian the following week. Please help us understand if something through this Quality Control process was missed or misunderstood. The Purpose of this process is to give you the control and peace of mind that the project is 100% complete and Not complete until you the customer have the opportunity to do a final walk-thru with a supervisor or manager and both confirm and sign-off on that all items of the project contract met or exceeded your expectations. Our only explanation for your new found dissatisfaction relates to the repeated threats you had made that if some more of the additional items, that were not part of the original contract were not done at no cost to you, that you would post bad reviews. We hope this is not the case and welcome the opportunity to understand what is now different or has changed from the Zero Defects Quality Control process paperwork you signed. We appreciate the opportunity to come back again and revisit any items that for whatever reasons you now feel need to be revisited regardless of the Zero Defects paperwork you signed. If there really are any outstanding issues, we are certainly willing to meet, discuss, and take care of whatever these supposed issues are so we can both confirm your project is complete and meets or exceeds your expectation. Please contact us as soon as possible.

We have great experience with Bryan Steinmetz.Honest, professional and trusted Advisor.I would recommend Guardian to anyone.
I've been dealing with contractors in my real estate business for the last 28 years and just had a brand new experience with Bryan Steinmetz. Finally a contractor that is truly customer service focused and goes way beyond to analyze the problem, access options, and give the customer the very best solution for the specific situation. He does not give a standard solution but treats each customer and problem from an individual perspective because that is really how to determine proper solutions. The time and energy he spent with my case was priceless!!!
Thank you from all of us at Team Guardian and for your kind words and recognition of Bryan's customer service. All of us at Team Guardian strive to deliver an exceptional service experience and we look forward to helping you with your projects.
Needed help with work right away and no one contacted. Have called over 4 times. When you do contact just an answering service no live reps to help at all.
We are sorry to hear that we were not able to service your emergency. Guardian does not provide emergency services unless they are existing clients. Our phones are answered by live receptionist to ensure all contact information is collected and to direct the callers needs to the correct department to ensure the best service possible. Unfortunately your call was not returned immediately due to the person that could have returned your call was out of the office that day to attend to her sick child. Guardian does not provide emergency services for non-clients and we again apologize for any misunderstanding in thinking we do provide these services. If you are unable to find a company that can properly fix the problems, we welcome the opportunity to help you anyway we can or to refer you to someone that may be able to help.
pleased
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your home improvement needs.
I would recommend Guardian to anyone! Guardian is not your typical contractor. They give very thorough quotes with a reasonable range of options. Not the normal salesman upsell experience. Honest and professional, I couldn't be happier with them!
Thank you. We appreciate the opportunity to help anyone needing home improvements with the Better Way To Buy home improvements experience.
I had an emergency, and they sent a crew out to fix the issue, and had no problems since then.
Thank you. We appreciate the opportunity and look forward to any opportunities to help you in the future.
They were very good at getting my job done quickly.
Thank you We appreciate the opportunity to help you. Team Guadian
When gale force winds hit out area in early March we had some shingles fly off our house and actually go through our neighbor's window! Guardian had done some great work at our business and came out quickly. They fixed our roof with the extra shingles we left out for them. We didn't even need to be home! It was nice to have a company we trust take care of our home.
Thanks again for the opportunity to continue to help you with your construction needs.
