Gerald Fye Contracting is truly an amazing company to hire for any of your concrete needs. We hired him to finish an elevated garage floor. Unfortunately, we were the victims of a shady contractor who came in, started a job, damaged our property, and ended up never finishing the work. Once we could move forward with the project, we had Gerald come out and look at the job and give us a proposal. Gerald was upfront on exactly what would need done and got a proposal of costs to us in a timely manner. The proposal was very well written, easy to understand, and had a timeline of what amount was due and when it was due. His prices were VERY reasonable. Once the process began, he worked closely with our designer to make sure the proper materials were being used so that we could obtain our permit and it would pass code enforcement inspections. Once everything was in order and the permit was obtained, Gerald came out to do the job and had it done in 2 days! The first day he had all the prep work done within a matter of hours. Once that was complete Gerald scheduled the inspection with the code enforcement officer so that the first in a series of inspections could be completed and we could move on. Once the inspection passed and we could move forward, he came out for the second day of work. Again in a matter of just a few hours his work was completed. He came, did the work, and was done. He wasn't constantly taking breaks, he wasn't constantly on his phone, he did exactly what he came to do. In the bitter cold, this man came out and did his work. He showed up on time, he was friendly and respectful of our family, he answered calls and texts in a timely manner, he worked well with the code enforcement and project designer to ensure that all aspects of the job were getting done properly. He went above and beyond and I could not have asked for a better contractor! For any future concrete needs, Gerald will definitely be my first call!

Gerald is a down to earth concrete master. I was happy with the steps and back patio he installed. I would make sure you get with him prior to explain your thoughts and make sure he understands your standards and expectations.
