I hired Chanko from Taskrabbit for some help with a moving project this past summer, and his professionalism, kindness, ability to communicate and care throughout the experience convinced me to hire him again the following week. And then, again, the following week. And then to help my 80year old mother with a furniture project a few weeks after that. He works brilliantly with other people and was able to bring in additional people who were also wonderful to help with bigger projects, secure a van, communicate with particularly grumpy building staff, seemingly breeze through every obstacle with humor and optimism. He has many technical skills and a great brain for space and design, in addition to his truly remarkable social and emotional intelligences. Honestly, I couldn’t have gotten through this moment (separating from my husband, relocating our kids, renovating and apartment, taking care of my mom,) without his professional support and humanity. What a mensch! Truly the BEST.
