Sam was extremely nice and courteous. He explained everything that needed doing beforehand, then told me how long it would take and much it would cost. Considering that he used only a minimum of new materials and the job took just a bit more than an hour, I thought the price was a little high. I asked about a Senior discount and was told, with a smile, that I was given the Senior discount. We discussed some other projects I possibly needed done and estimated costs. I requested and was given a detailed receipt for payment for the project that was completed. I asked about a warranty for the work done. He told me no, due to the age of the garage door, however if problems occurred within a reasonable amount of time, just call him and he would come back and check it out. All in all it was a great experience and I was really glad to have my garage door back working.

Sam and his helper Joe were fantastic. We were amazed at Sam's work. Very pleasant fellows and didn't mind my husband and I watching the work. Sam replaced old parts of the garage door and had to be creative in installing the new garage door opener. They inspected another door and fixed it quickly.

Called Sam at 7:20 AM after garage door spring cracked and door wouldn't open. He was out by 9:30 and replaced the spring. How's that for service? Would definitely recommend Sam and First American Garage doors.
