Write a ReviewGreat work! Would highly recommend for all of your painting needs. Easy to work with and professional.
Ken and his crew remodeled our entire 2 bedroom, 2 bath second floor walkup condo in 2 stages. First, he remodeled both bathrooms. The workmanship was excellent, so we hired him to do the remainder of our condo. He listened to all of our requirements, from new electrical, HVAC to wall removal and reconfiguration. He was extremely flexible about last minute changes and additions and they did enumerable little side jobs (eg hanging art, etc) for us. All of his staff were professional, trustworthy and personable. In the end, our 1965 era condo has been stripped entirely and rebuilt into a beautiful open concept, modern home. We would not hesitate to recommend Ken Dorian Construction.
We did hire this business to do an extensive remodeling job. We told Mr. Dorian from the day we met and many many other times that we only had until October 15 to get this job done. That was in May. Five months later we still had no permits and no work was done. Our deadline was not met. Our remodeling project was completely ruined. We knew it would take time to get approval from the county for permits. Mr Dorian insisted we use his architect. We paid his architect $500.00 and paid Mr. Dorian $2600. Permits were filed by Mr Dorian and declined 3 times because he did not follow the instructions set forth by the county to approve the permits. Mr. Dorian blamed the county. We went into the county and spoke with them ourselves. We were told all he had to do was answer one question. The same question was asked on all three rejection letters. He did not follow through or do his job. I believe he over extended himself and did not have the means or the desire to do our remodel. Now that alone is bad enough, but Mr. Dorian refuses to refund any of our money. He was paid $2600.00 for a job he did not do and will not take responsibility for. Do not do business with this man. You will regret it.
great manager and owner. highly recommended.
Very professional on time and complete
Two 4x12 load bearing exterior beams n the front of my house were deteriorated from water. I then learned that the beams were also infested with termites. I was very worried. Ken got an emergency permit from the city and proceeded with the necessary repairs. This, combined with a reputable exterminator alleviated the problem. The beams were professionally (and meticulously) repaired and repainted. They look great and I can sleep better at night.
We remodeled two bathrooms completely, removing a tub in one, building out the showers and vanities in both. The bathrooms were completely re-tiled and refinished. This is our second project with Ken. He worked with us from the design and permits through construction and the final inspection, providing guidance and excellent craftsmanship from both his team and his sub-contractors. We are very happy with the results. We recommend him highly and he will be our first call on any future projects.
Mr Dorian respondent very promptly all my calls and requests
What my wife chosen was not installed, project took way to long. I am not pleased with this project. The 2nd counterop was not priced properly.
It is wonderful to find a reputable contractor in Southwest Florida! Dealing with Ken and his sub-contractor was one of the best and easiest experience we have had since moving here. We can highly recommend Dorian Construction.; our recommendation doesn't come easily!
