Very impressed with the overall service provided by Expert Wire.I had a problem with 3 outlets which were not working. Our electrical box was the original one from the 1970's and knew we probably needed to have it changed. I initially contacted their office on a Friday to schedule an appointment for early the following week. I got a live person on the line and she was very cordial, professional and helpful. We scheduled the appointment for Monday morning which was excellent! The tech contacted me 30 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment to let me know he was on his way. He showed up when expected. He was very knowledgeable. He explained and showed me the issues. What he proposed made sense changing the box. He gave me a price which was right in line with the price range I'd determined during my research. He was very organized and completed the work. He explained and showed me the finished work. He was very neat, wearing booties over his shoes. I'm very happy with not only the work, but the overall process of working with Expert Wire. I highly recommend them!
Matt Wothers was great. Very professional, no-nonsense. Installed our new fan and then did an electrical inspection. He shared a lot of good advice and recommendations, and we had him give us an estimate for additional work. I recommend caution. I called Expert Wire on a Friday evening when an outlet in our garage would not work after a severe storm. We checked all the breakers first and couldn't find the problem. Their worker Juan came immediately, but he was not very familiar with our solar system. He spent 45 mins without repairing or replacing anything. Eventually the outlet worked again (I am assuming it had something to do with the rain). Juan told us the electric panel was dangerous, not up to code and might cause a fire. He charged us over $300 and recommended urgent replacement of our main panel. (Our panel passed 2 previous electrical inspections in the past 4 years). The Expert Wire owner David contacted me several times to convince me of how dangerous our situation was, but apparently his worker did not recognize our Square D double tap breakers which are new, up to code and designed for this purpose. We got a second opinion from a master electrician. Bottom line: panel is up to code, not a danger and not a fire risk. No replacement was needed. The owner did not offer a refund.
Thank you for your correspondence with me regarding the services provided on July 27 by our company. At Expert Wire, we are human and must realize that from time to time we do make mistakes. I believe that what defines us is how we handle those mistakes. I take full responsibility for the missed diagnosis, as Juan was following his training. Our technicians are trained to identify possible hazards including double tapped breakers, however, our training materials did not reflect that some of, both Square D and Cutler Hammer circuit breakers (unlike other brands) have dual wire termination ratings for their circuit breakers. With much gratitude for your willingness to speak with me and allowing me to learn from the situation, I must apologize for our incorrect diagnosis. After learning what we have, you are fully justified in your review. We will use this situation to learn and grow. We will update our training manuals to reflect the two brands which have dual wire termination ratings. It is our policy at Expert Wire to provide complete satisfaction for clients. Since we are unable to provide complete satisfaction for you, we have credited a full refund to your credit card on August 20th for the invoice dated July 27th.

Juan S. & Brian G. replaced faulty smoke alarms and exterior security light and added a wall switch. They gave a 30 minute prior to arrival courtesy call, were very professional and courteous. All work was explained and the price was reasonable. They even cleaned up after themselves! I only wish everyone followed this level of quality service. Great job, Juan, Brian and Expert Wire! Highly recommend.
They were able to send someone to my home the day after I called to make an appointment. Dave Bittell was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. This will be the company I always call for electrical work in the future!
