The installation team did an exceptionally good job on the removal & installation of my new cedar fence. The team worked in tandem with each other to complete the installation as scheduled. They made sure to keep my yard clear of any equipment as they installed my fence. They were both courteous during any interaction with me. My new fence is truly beautiful due to the expert installation team!

Te pthe guys came in sharp at 8 am. Continuously worked and did a fabulous job. I will hire them again for other projects if needed. I very highly recommend them. The guys were very professional and polite. Awesome experience.

Repair or Partially Replace a Wood Fence

There was no option for concrete slab. We didn’t have a fence installed. We had a concrete slab poured for a future gazebo. The workers showed up on time and did an excellent job. Work was done in a timely fashion and clean up was finished before they left. These guys knew the answer to every question asked. Such hard working guys deserve a raise. There was no surprise total at the end of the project. What was quoted was what we paid. Thank you for a job well done.

Excellent quality work. And the two installers finished the project in less than six hours! I have done several fence repairs/installation in the past, but it was definitely in my best interest to rely on experts.

Ergeon Fence Service delivered to my satisfaction. They were very reasonable price. The put up a Wooden fence, board on board and they completed it in 2 days. My backyard looks totally different. They advised me to build the wooden fence in front of my existing chain-link fence for better coverage from the creek vegetation.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
