Great father son team. Son came out for the estimate and father and crew came out for a quick high quality install.

They were clear and honest with the work being as well as fairly priced in the labor. They recommended various products within our budget and helped us every step of the way explaining what was going on when something needed repairing or otherwise. Would definitely hire them again for future projects. The work took longer than expected, but that was due to repairs needed and some delays with their suppliers for some materials, but when they got to work it was quick, efficient and minimal hassle.

It seems the process took a long time. From accepting the bid to finishing it, it took 4-6 weeks. Ordering the materials is what took so long not the people but once delivered that's when the progress began. They were overall great to work with, fast, efficient and very happy with the outcome.

Response from Company:

Thank you Michael for taking the time to write a review for our company. It was a GREAT pleasure being able to do this project for you. Unfortunately we have absolutely no impact on how quickly the materials arrive as this is all strictly up to the vendors. Once again, thank you!

Initially, this company seemed great, but it proved to be a mistake to hire Edin's Tile to install hardwood flooring throughout the upper level of our house. They were great up until collecting the 50% down payment, but then they were super late on completing the work and super expensive on extras. They stated on their contract signed in February that they would complete installation by 3-14-16. I had just moved and was waiting on them to finish so we could set up our furniture, but I had to push them to complete by 4-30-16. The older man doing the installation blamed the delay on one area in dining room needing removal of plywood and staples and some staples in other rooms. I hired a different company to quickly remove and leave floor clean and ready for installation and they were done by 3-7-16. Edin's Tile proposal to do that clean up work was way too expensive. They did charge me an extra $1,000.00 to level four small areas throughout rooms, and they had me wait weeks for the compound they poured to dry. I've since been told by other contractors it doesn't take weeks to dry. There was one more room downstairs that needed laminate installed by them, but I just couldn't deal with this company's excuses for delays so we mutually agreed to end our working relationship, and I was planning to leave an OK review until they tried to make me sign a document which prohibited me from giving them a bad review. I refused. That action caused me to want to warn others about my experience with Edin's Tile. I have contracted and been happy with many other companies from Home Advisor, but this is the only one that clearly was not good.

Response from Company:

Thank you Liza for taking the time to write out the review for our business. I just wish you would have remembered to mention a few other details in this review that you left out. Details such as that our standard contract does indicate the estimated time of completion for the project, assuming no subfloor imperfections occur. Unfortunately in your case there were quite a few, as you were shown, and took a while for it all to be addressed. As noted in our contract which was initialed and signed by you, we have absolutely no control of how much of a delay it can cause as every imperfection is different. Also did not mention that Edin's Tile LLC. saved you approximately $1,000 on materials that your vendor was trying to sell you which was completely unnecessary and could have provided you issues down the road. Proceeding from there, you had initially had your painters scheduled for the time when we were scheduled to complete the project. Due to your request to have painters paint during this time we had moved the project out until they were done with their work. The day before they were supposed to begin you informed us that you are having them paint once we finish the floors. Communication between you and us was open and nearly instant the entire time during the project. If you refer to our emails it will be clear that not a single time an email went unanswered. We did however wait on you for about 4 - 5 days to respond to us how you wished to proceed with removing the plywood under your dining room which was found. Also towards the end of the project, your husband requested that we wait for the flooring to "bounce back" and see if it flattens out since the wood was sitting on it. This added another week per your request. We did spend weekdays and weekends working on your project to make up for lost time to get everything completed as quickly as possible. When addressing a subfloor with the leveling compound, the compound does dry to the touch and is open for light traffic within 24 hours. You can install products such as tile and vinyl over it in the short period of time. However wood is significantly affected by moisture and if not dry to the core can cause the flooring to buckle and warp. We were not providing "excuses" for delays, this is the process for the project in the case of such a large subfloor issues such as we had with yours. We'd be the happiest if we could address a floor and install the same day. We have absolutely no benefit of keeping a project open as it costs us time and money to have an unfinished job open. When we came to wrap up the upstairs you did inform us about the downstairs which was full of furniture and we could not access. You decided to cancel our contract and find someone else to complete the downstairs, which was perfectly fine with us. We did not mutually agree to the breach, it was fully requested by you. We discounted, SIGNIFICANTLY, the contract breaching fee for you. The form that you were asked t

I hired this company to install bamboo flooring throughout my house, minus the three bedrooms. I was very happy with the installation. Unfortunately, they indicated they could also replace my stairs, hand railings, and balusters in my split level house. About half way through that portion of the job, I asked them to leave. The work was absolutely terrible/shockingly bad. I subsequently hired another company to remove what Edin's had done and complete the job correctly. They did a terrific job! This was an expensive experience for me but well worth having the job done correctly and competently. The takeaway is that a company may be able to do one specific thing well, but may not be the right company to do something that seems related, but requires different skills. The rating on this site is for the flooring intpstallation only.

Edin and Ermin are very easy to deal with and professional. They were able to work with our uneven floors and get the hardwood installed beautifully.

They provided a quote for all floor surfaces. I have hardwood, marmoleum, and carpet flooring need to be installed. They did the hardwood, and sub out the marmoleum and carpet to a third party. The job for everything was to take a week. The house was theirs for the week, no other contractors. The problem occurred when the marmoleum and carpet installer waited until the end of the week to decided he wasn't going to do the job. The folks from Edin tried to find someone, but it seemed like a lackluster effort. The response to the guy bailing was it's not their fault, what can you do. I had to find a someone quick and reasonable to save my timeline. The project was a total remodel of 1600 soft house. The wood floor they did is a fair job.

Response from Company:

I'd like to start by thanking Douglas for taking the time to write a review, as we greatly appreciate feedback from all of our clients. Caught me a bit off guard to see such a poor review from a client who was so impressed by our hardwood installation and specifically stated, "it's a shame you guys don't install marmoleum as well, you do such nice work." and when we settled the final balance stated to us that he would see us soon on another project, as this home was simply just a flip. As Douglas stated above the issue did happen when the subcontractor who was to install the marmoleum & carpet (not a part of our install team) stated he was not going to do the work. However the detail that was left out was that Douglas requested an improper installation of the marmoleum. Marmoleum has to be welded at the seams otherwise it can separate once the temperature and humidity changes. Douglas declined for the seams to be welded and the installer felt uncomfortable completing the install as it was too high of a risk of something going wrong a short period down the road. Please also do keep in mind that the only part of the contract we signed off on was the hardwood as the marmoleum and the carpet were to be done at a later time. We made a significant amount of effort and so do did the subcontractor to help find Douglas someone who would be willing to do the project in the way he requested, but we were unsuccessful. About 5 other contractors were referred to him by us and most either did not wish to do the project in that sort of way or were booked out too far. After I informed him of the infromation I had and provided him the numbers, he stated me that he has other installers who are booked out the same amount and will call them. I wish this review that was posted was more based on our quality of work, hardwood install, as the reviews below are versus focused on the complications we encountered with a subcontractor, as it has nothing to do with our quality of work or how we time our projects.

They were great to work with. Came and gave me a estimate, We found some problems with the sub floor after the carpet was removed and they were able to repair it and install the new flooring in a reasonable amount of time and they were very fair with the price on the additional work.

I was really impressed with the high quality work & professionalism of Edin's Tile! They were very responsive with their communication, showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. The end results of the project look amazing! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants their project done right !!!
