As first-time pool owners, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience than working with Tyler, owner of Central Ohio Pool Services. He took the time to walk us through everything and made sure we truly understood how to operate and maintain our pool. Not just the basics, but way more knowledge than he even needed to share. You can tell right away that Tyler is passionate about what he does, and that kind of care is hard to find these days, especially with pool service companies. On top of that, he’s incredibly personable and easy to work with, which made the whole process stress-free. He really went above and beyond for us, and the fact that he’s available to answer questions anytime over text gives us a ton of peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you, Tyler is your guy. Highly recommend!

I hired Tyler and needed a quick turn-a-round. He was responsive and right on time. He knew what he was doing and did not try to oversell. Would absolutely use Tyler again.

Very poor communication. I asked him when he would arrive yesterday and got "afternoon." At 3:00, I started texting, leaving voicemail and email messages asking if he was still coming. At 4:17 he finally responded. Almost an hour later he arrived. He opened our pool, and 1/2 hour later a line came off, flooded the yard, and washed away the sand retainer around the wall. When I texted him, he said it was fine when he left and he can't be responsible if a hose comes loose after he's gone. Additionally, he was walking around the top rail of our metal walled pool. We told him he can't do that. He said he does it every day (but came down after second request). We would never use his services again.

I had a terrible experience with Tyler and his company, Central Ohio Pool and Spa. I paid $4,000 for him to install a new pool heater and open my pool, but he completely botched the job. He incorrectly wired the heater, which caused damage, and then refused to take responsibility for his mistake. To make matters worse, he didnâ  t even complete the pool opening. Itâ  s clear to me that Tyler is not qualified to do the pool work he quotes, and he runs from his responsibilities when things go wrong. I strongly advise anyone considering his services to look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and find a professional who knows what theyâ  re doing.

Tyler is wonderful to work with! He is responsive to questions and is highly professional. His personable demeanor makes him a pleasure to work with. He cares about the quality of his work and that you are also satisfied with the work being done.

The person promises a lot of things at the beginning and fail to meet them. I hired the service guy to open my pool for the summer. He basically used some chemicals and wipe the algeas. After that, he told me he will make sure evething will be in a good shape. He told me it is clean to swim while it was still not fully clean. He asked extra charges to come one more time for cleaning. I do not recommend him at all.

Tyler is very knowledgeable and helpful. Takes the time to explain things. We would recommend.
