Pedro came out on a Sunday to bid the project. I was surprised how reasonable the bid was. There was a big tree root and stump remaining from a previous company that needed to be ground out. Also the bid included sodding a 450 sq ft area and planting a new tree after the stump was removed. The project eventually included replacing the entire sprinkler system due to damage from roots and preparing the area for the new sod/tree. He and his team worked non-stop and prepared the area like true professionals. As issues presented themselves they addressed them immediately. Because the project took 2 days instead of one, and included replacing the entire sprinkler system instead of making a few repairs, I expected the initial bid to go up but Pedro did not bring up the subject. I brought it up near the completion of the project and expected the price to increase by an additional 50% or maybe even double but he only asked for an additional 17%. The work ethic, commitment to service, reasonable pricing and quality results are all things I look for when recommending a company and I am sure if you decide to use his services, you will be happy with the result.

We negotiated a better price as I kept the wood. The wood was supposed to be cut to fireplace size. He complained that the wood was damaging his chainsaw...the larger logs were eventually cut in half at my demand but now I'm stuck to get them cut to a manageable size. I wish his crew had done a better clean up. The price was exceptionable and you get what you pay for.
