Reasonable work and value for money

Stay away. I hired Carlos for 2 jobs. The first was tree trimming- the price was so much lower than other quotes, I couldn't say no. Everything seemed to go fine with the job (I'm not an arborist so other than there being fewer branches I didn't know what to look for, more on that job later). The second job I hired him for was to remove a medium sized tree and plant two others. That's when I started to recognize I wasn't dealing with a knowledgeable professional. Carlos's team planted the new trees STILL in their root balls. The fabric would prevent the trees from ever rooting. I texted and called repeatedly for a week and never heard back from Carlos. He took my money and ran. But that's not the worst part. Fast forward 2 years, and the massive, mature oak tree he trimmed has to be completely removed because Carlos's team used climbing spikes to trim the tree, causing irreparable damage to it. 60% of the tree is dead today and poses a massive danger to my and my neighbors house. The cost to remove the tree will be 10x whatever money I thought I was saving in 2019. What's more- it's a tragedy to lose this old of a tree.

Carlos and his team did an excellent job removing two large pine trees from our property. I am planning to hire him again for additional work this fall. He is top notch! You can't go wrong hiring him!

Good work for the money; two other estimates were much higher.

Carlos did an excellent job. He removed a 60 foot pine in my yard and did no damage to the shrubs that were close and all around the tree. He also remove lower branches from another tree. His crew cleaned up all the miscellaneous branches and finished blowing the place clean. At the same time, Carlos removed my neighbors 60 pine tree, and my neighbor is also very pleased with his work.

He’s friendly and offers you to do work you didn’t need. But it kept me from having to do the job myself.

Very professional, courteous, and expert. Project was difficult including challenging tree removal with a hilly property. Very clear on price, specifications and scope of the work. He (Carlos) walked my property with me at the end of the work to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. And it definitely was. I am certain I will use his service in the future.
