Write a ReviewThey did a great job on all the jobs I had for them to do. They were dependable and did the work in a timely manner. Thank you for a job well done.
Your project was unique and we appreciate your willingness to work with us regarding the challenges. We look forward to working with you in the future.
Very knowledgeable people, friendly, but also VERY expensive. They charged me $100 per hour for a 5-hour job, which is way above what is considered handyman service.
We charged a fair fixed price for labor and materials that was agreeded upon prior to any work being done, and we stuck with our bid there were no suprises. We reframed an entire side wall of a barn that had been flooded. The wall was completely pulled away from the slab and was infested with termites and carpenter ants. This was an unstable structure and took special equipment and knowledge to perform the job safely. Just because our crew finished in a short amount of time didn't mean it wasn't worth the price. We have the right tools and expertise to complete the task safely and efficently with quality results.
Alan did a great job outside. I wish that we had just limited our work with him to outside work. He has little knowledge of interior work, and I had to hire other contractors to finish the interior jobs. Stick with hiring him for outside jobs!
First off we completed this work over 7 months ago. Given the state of the property condition we were working with the materials and budget you had. The mobile home was in such disrepair that over half of one side of the house needed to be torn down and rebuilt due to dry rot, and termite damage. However, we performed the tasked how you directed us toand, and in the manner your requested. We had an arsenal of subcontractors to perform the work for you, but when you found out that we had a small fee (a common industry practice) to manage the subs and get them over there you felt we were taking advantage of you and hired other contractors.
work was done in a timely fashion and work was good. The only thing was the amount work done was not worth the amount charged.
We tuck pointed, fixed, and added mortar, and reset stone on the house that was falling off due to the lack of manitiance over the years. We gave you a bid prior to any work being performed and you agreeded to the contract of services for the scope of work. We completed the work in the same week that you made your initial request for services. If the price was too much you should have gotten more quotes and gone with a cheaper contractor. We did a good quality job and you got quality work for the price paid.
While there were a few things that I felt could have been done better, overall the work was well done quickly using good quality materials. When they could not quite match the insurance estimates, some extra work not connected to the insurance job was thrown in. They showed a lot of willingness to do things the way that I wanted. If I had provided a little more details in describing what I wanted and/or if I had stayed a bit more involved with observing certain phases of the work I am sure it would have come out exactly as I wanted. They seemed very nice and even took a few minutes out to help a neighbor out with a minor problem for free. The best recommendation I can give is that I am already considering hiring them for more work.
We appreciate the oppurtunity to work with you it is always a pleasure.
They did not show for their appointment and didn't call either.

Bob Butler did an excellent job. He was friendly, did not waste time, and did everything I asked. It was just a small job, hanging curtain rods, mirrors and art, some things a little lady could not do for herself. I appreciate that there is someone I can call here in Bastrop to help me out. Bob is my guy.
They leveled my pier and beam house, absolutely remarkable difference! They put flashing up on the roof to divert water from 2 low spots, and they fixed a small shed. All in less than one day AND they cleaned up after themselves. I've already hired them for 3 more projects. I have to say I've never been this impressed with a handyman service. They are as professional as any corporation I've dealt with. I would give them more stars if I could, and I highly recommend them!
They were prompt and very personable. We discussed some other issues, which I will call them back fo install.
