Shawn went over and beyond in diagnosing and correcting my problem. My air conditioner broke down two days previously. An A/C tech from another company told me that I needed to replace a circuit breaker. Shawn tested the breaker and found that it was ok. He then went up on the roof to look at the HVAC unit. After a couple of minutes he was able to get the HVAC Unit working. He could have just said that the circuit breaker was ok and walked away. He knew that being without air conditioning was important so he volunteered to do a little investigating. He successfully got the air conditioner up and running again. I whole heartedly recommended Belknap Electrical.

Shawn was very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain the process prior to installation. During installation there were quite a few obstacles (being that we own an older home), but the job was still completed in a timely manner. Shawn really does quality work and I can tell he really loves what he does! We are very happy with the final product and will definitely be reaching out to Shawn in the future for our Electrical needs!

So I hired Belknap Electric to install power for a mini split unit in our master bedroom. I am what you call a DIYer and totally thought I would be able to do this myself, but I was in over my head. Shawn explained that even though the unit is 120v I wouldn't be able to just hook it up to an existing plug like I had intended. He ran a new circuit from the panel for us. I didn't expect to hire someone so that was kinda a bummer, but with this 100 degree weather I know we made the right choice.

Shawn is reliable and affordable. He communicated the entire process with me up front and every step of the way. He upgraded my entire sub-panel so I could add more breakers to the box and upgrade my fixtures and add a 50amp hot tub to my back yard. Itâ s working perfectly and my family loves it!
