He gave me a fair estimate for a tree removal well within my expectations. Came out the next morning and was finished in about 90 minutes. Clean up was very good.

Gave me a bid and I accepted it on the spot. He started work the next day. Did a great job. Cleaned up area as though he was never there.

Scope of the project as bid was cutting down a 50 ft high tree and removing the stump to plant a new tree. Bid was on the high end per Home Advisor estimates but I did not haggle because it was a big project. They cut the tree down like pros. When they left there was a mound of mulch/dirt about 12 inches high above the level of the sidewalk. When I started moving the mulch the following weekend I found a root about 4 inches in diameter about 4 inches below the level of the sidewalk. When I tried to cut the root out before planting the tree and sodding, I found it extended about 3 feet west and was attached to the remaining stump and the top of the remaining stump was level with the sidewalk. The mound of mulch had been hiding the stump. Christian knew we were going to plant a new tree there per Arcadia regulations so I was surprised the stump had not been ground out. Hired in another company and the project was completed. I would attach photos of root and stump if allowed.
