I spoke with both Christian and Fidel after finding them on Home Advisor. Christian assured me that they would work with me to get me the best price that they could. I was getting several estimates to remove an orange tree and a climbing rose bush. I made an appointment for Avina Tree Service to come give me an estimate. They were willing to come that evening, but I was not available so they came the next morning. Christian arrived on time. He was professional, but friendly. He was knowledgeable about the work that was required (for example, grinding the stump) to perform the job properly. He gave me the scope of the work that would be done, including clean up, and then quoted me a price. It was extremely reasonable compared to the other half dozen estimates I had obtained. Some others were close, but Avina was the lowest. I felt very comfortable with this company after speaking to Fidel and Christian, reading reviews on Home Advisor, verifying their contractor's license was valid, etc., so I hired them on the spot. He told me they could do it that same afternoon. Their crew arrived during our agreed upon time frame. They went straight to work. It was a pretty hot day and I provided them with cold water and sodas, which they very much appreciated. They were prepared with the equipment that they needed to do the job. I never saw anyone in their crew stop working. Even when they picked up a water or soda, it was either on the way to take tree limbs out to their truck, or on the way back. They completed the job in under an hour. I was very impressed with how quickly, yet extremely efficiently, they worked. They cleaned up everything very well and left my yard cleaner than it was before they arrived. I am very happy with the work they performed and how they performed it. I would not hesitate to refer them to one of my friends or hire them again if I ever needed their services.
