Write a ReviewOwner is a nice guy!
About a year ago I hired All Fenced In to remove existing fencing and install new PVC VINYL fencing. The owner Carman came to view the work that would need to be done. He came close enough to the time scheduled and took measurements and made a list of the work to be done to start and complete the project. This list included two fences to be removed. A wooden stockade and chain link. The chain link was supported by steel posts cemented into the ground. Above the ground surface were cement caps that went around my property of the fence line. In all 27 caps that Carmen said he would remove if they were going to interfere with the installation of the new fencing. Not a single cap was removed and all were left as is. This left an UGLY appearance that I was not happy about. They were all in a row 5 to be exact. The remaining 22 were not as visible and in his opinion did not need to be removed. I wanted and requested him to remove all of them. He said he would take care of it, WHICH he did not. Do not misunderstand, the new fence looks great compared to what was there. It's the workmanship that SUCKED. A section of the new fence although it wasn't in full view of anyone but me had a slight slope down not even with the remainder of the fence. The ONE worker that began the project said it was how the grade of the land surface went and there was nothing he could do about it. I contacted Carmen he sent another worker that attempted to put in line with the rest. He was able to slightly adjust this section and said to me it was the best he could do. This could of and should have been a no brainer if the effort was made to correct this in a professional manner and doing whatever necessary to make it right. End result, it was left as is. This project included two gates. It was near getting to the finished project. I asked Carmen, what are my choices for the handles and clasp closures for the gates. He told me WE don't install those. I said to myself "WHAT". Carmen said nothing of it and left. Apparently after leaving Carmen must have reconsidered because unannounced this gentleman, who as it turned out is his father-in-law, came to install these materials. He had noticed that gate hinges did not have caps. He just laughed and told me these caps were necessary to prevent deterioration by the elements. As far as the handles and clasps, he told me with a smirk they are part of the project. Worker #1 left debris behind that he also took away. If I remember Carmen's father-in-law is Bill. He was retired from the industry but from time to time helps Carmen out with small chores. Bill is the ONLY positive I can give in my experience. A real gentleman and he understand my disgust. Carmen may have the knowledge experience and no what he's talking about, but in my experience he failed me with his customer service and keeping the customer happy.
very good workers and very polite
Carmen contacted us and arrived when expected. Upon talking to him it was evident that he knew his stuff. His recommendations were exactly what we were looking for. His crew came in a couple weeks after and got the job done in just a few days. What impressed me most was that he came by after the job was done to see if we were happy with it. In addition to his exceptional work/knowledge, his rapport with clients was impressive. We are excited for the summer to entertain and show it off... We are already getting many compliments on it... We are very pleased and would recommend him to anyone wanting to have a fence to compliment their outside space.
Carman is a great man to work with, very understanding too. Many thanks! :)))
Make sure you get everything in a contract and don't pay until the work is done.
There is a 6 to 8 week wait after signing the agreement.
Carmen is a very nice guy and gives you creative ideas for your fence. They provide a very good quality of materials, and the installation process they make very easy and respond to any issues very quickly.
I found this company on Home Advisor and chose them because they said they could install the fence in 1- 2 weeks. Once I placed the order and gave 1/2 down payment it went dead silent and I had to keep calling to find out when they might install the fence. I finally got an install date and when the installer arrived they had the wrong part of the fence (an area that I didnt even order). Then they installed the chain link fence and had the wrong size gates. On the same day the vinyl fence was delivered but only had end posts instead of the posts required for the job so they said they had to come back. They came back and installed one part of the fence (I had three areas) but had to come back again as they didnt have all the pieces to finish. The owner didnt order the Taper with the fence so they had to come back three more times to finally finish it as all the pieces were too short to complete the job (and we had to modify it so there is still a hole that you can see and I had to put white duck tape on it to finish it off). Thank God for the installer Kirk as he was very knowledgeable and worked quickly. He could have done the whole job in one day if the order was taken correctly and the right parts delivered to the site. When the order was taken the rep took 4 phone calls and was not writing anything down which then made the order incorrect and delayed the entire process (which pushed back my landscaping order). So for something I was told would take 1-2 weeks it took 7 weeks and 5 different trips to get installed. The end product is a beautiful fence. However, if they just payed attention on the day the order was placed they would have made this experience a much better one than what I had. If you have lots of time, patience and don't mind problem solving then you should hire this company...
Carmen came and looked at the project, I knew exactly what I wanted, one week later Kirk was there to removed my old fence and put in my new beautiful fence, (in he rain) I couldn't be happier. I would recommend them to anyone I know that needed a new fence.
