I don't think I have ever had a more focused and professional crew work for me before this remodel!

I first met Alan Mikol and worked with AM Window and Construction in 1993 when they renovated my kitchen and a bathroom. I was impressed with their workmanship, professionalism and ability to stay on budget and schedule. I moved out of state and when I returned to Pittsburgh ten years later, AM Window & Construction was the ONLY contractor I contacted to do some work at my new residence. â Some workâ has turned into a 19 year collaboration which has included adding air conditioning; replacing my double furnaces; all new windows; renovating a master bathroom; enclosing a screened-in porch; a new deck; renovating the laundry room and installing a new roof. To say that AM Window & Construction is my â go-toâ contractor is quite evident for multiple reasons. Alan Mikol is honest, professional and maintains constant communication concerning the job so I am never left in the dark about anything that is happening at my house-and he returns phone calls! Hes got excellent foremen and a great crew of tradesmen who are trustworthy, on time, clean up every evening before leaving a job and pleasant to see come into my home. I would recommend AM Window and Construction without any reservation whatsoever!

This remodel was by far, the best experience we have had in updating our home. Alanâ s engineering experience gave us far more than we ever expected. His crew, Steven and others were very experienced and did a beautiful job. They began by protecting every inch of our home before even beginning any demolition. They were also very true to their word on the length of time from start to finish this project would take. My house was also left cleaner than I believe it was before they began! A&M Window and Construction Company is a very honest and professional company and they will definitely add value to your home with any remodeling project!

Best experience ever with a home contractor. They completed a kitchen, bath and added recessed lighting to an adjoining room. Alan, the owner, was very helpful and patient in designing the plan. All work was done professionally to high standards using quality materials. very thorough. They are truly committed to your satisfaction and follow up with any issues, even months after the job is done. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again.

We worked very closely with Alan for the planning of the job and the fixture selection. He listened carefully to what we wanted to accomplish and ultimately helped our wishes become reality. Alan was very accommodating to our schedule, with a vacation planned and an unexpected surgery that was needed. Alans son Jason was the job foreman on our job with Tom and Colin as his assistants. They worked together as a well oiled machine, first covering our hardwood floors with foam board and luan plywood, then covering everything with plastic sheeting and making an actual little roomette enclosure in which they kept their tools and workstation. Know too, that these three men worked on the total gutting and remodeling of one bathroom (master), while also updating an adjacent guest bathroom with new flooring, faucet fixtures and sink while enclosing a reach through storage area to allow for an much larger shower in the master bathroom. The men were on the job at 8 in the morning and worked through until they had accomplished the job goals for that day. All of the work was done professionally, the men were all very courteous and polite and when the job was completed eight days later, we had a brand new master bath and an updated guest bath as desired. There was nothing left here to let anyone know they had even been here except for two very nice bathrooms and two very pleased customers. Thank you A.M. Construction, LLC.

This company is extremely professional and courteous. The workers arrive at a set time, work as a team, and clean up each day before they leave. Jason, headed up our team of workers most days and allowed time to answer our questions or make adjustments. Colin, Tommy, Matt, and "Uncle Steve" smiled and were hard, diligent workers.

The project was completed on schedule at the quoted price. The workers were courteous and paid great attention to detail. They respected my property and took extraordinary care in leaving the premises clean each day. I subsequently had them replace all of my windows. When I incurred water damage to the kitchen and several other rooms a year later, I immediately contacted Alan to have him make the extensive repairs. Again I was very pleased with their work and their helpfulness in dealing with two separate insurance agencies. Highly recommended !

Alan was great with suggestions and ideas. The crew was punctual, friendly, hard working and tidy. My bathroom is so beautiful it could be on the front page of a magazine. I would definitely use this company again!
