"We used Sunflower for a full walkout basement finish with kitchenette, full bath, laundry, home office/spare bedroom with built in custom bookcase murphy bed, and large living area with custom built ins. We also decided to do a partial kitchen remodel with new quartz countertops replacing our granite and two tiered island. We got a waterfall island and took the quartz up for the backsplash. We then decided to add on interior painting since the walls needed to match our new kitchen. lol. So happy we added that on and that the team was able to do that. We reached out when we got water in our basement - Andrew came out the next day and gave us a quote, he explained the issue, how to stop the issue and gave us some options. We liked his honestly and went with KC foundation repair and excavation for our job. It took us some time to get the money together, but once we did they were able to come out and do the repair 2 weeks later. The guys were all kind, punctual and knowledgeable. They explained everything going on and answered all questions. The work was done quickly and we don't have water in the basement anymore. They put piers in under our front stoop, installed carbon fiber straps, installed dimple board and drain tile, installed an additional sump pump, and filled a huge crack in our basement wall. "Having polymer insulated vinyl siding installed on your home is a huge investment, there is no hiding that fact. I received bids from multiple well-known siding companies in the KC area, but Great Plains Exteriors quote was by far the most competitive. More important than the price, however, was that company owner Chase made me feel the at ease with taking on such a large project. The ProVia CedarMax siding product, the 3D moisture barrier house wrap, and the process of removing wood rot before even installing new siding was explained in great detail. Chase answered all questions promptly and confidently. There was absolutely no pressure placed on me to make a decision. It took me a few weeks to think it all over, but eventually I made a decision that would transform my home for the better. I decided to go with Great Plains Exteriors to reside my house. They were able to work with my schedule, and even were able start work earlier than expected. On the first day of the project I met with Chase and Carlos, the crew lead, who would be overseeing the daily work. Immediately I felt in good hands, as Carlos and Chase exuded a high level of professionalism while running through the preliminary project details with me. The crew got started the very next day, stripping off the old, rotten board-and-batten siding. They cut out all the rotten wood present and replaced it with new plywood. It was truly impressive to watch these guys go at it! As the old siding was stripped away its true condition was exposed, it hit me how badly needed the new siding was. Within a couple of days, the houses appearance was already transformed as the new siding (and new color!) was taking shape. Carlos communicated with me every day to make sure I was happy with everything. Any questions I had were answered, any concerns I had were quickly addressed. You really cannot ask for a better group of guys to work with. At the end of every work day, the crew cleaned up everything, bagged up all the trash, organized their tools and were neat and tidy. I was impressed - this is hard work and they performed it with accuracy and class. After about seven days, the house was finished. The entire thing was had been resided in a beautiful slate gray with white trim. It was nearly unrecognizable from the ugly brown rotten wooden husk it once was. I look forward to the heating and cooling savings due to the new insulation, as well as never having to paint again. The siding lifetime warranty paired with professional-grade installation have made me realize this was a truly meaningful investment in the houses future. You may be on the fence about residing your house; it is a tremendous investment so that is understandable. However, know that if you decide to take the plunge, there is one company you can certainly trust to do the job right: Great Plains Exteriors."

"Mario is a class guy. He listened to what we wanted and applied his talent to build what we wanted in the way we wanted. After he got to a point, he brought the replacement mantle to our house to make sure the fit was right. It looks AMAZING only 1/3 done! He now has to complete the build and stain & finish. With so many choices of stains, we discussed what needed to be matched and what stain to go with. Again, he listened to what we said and didn't try and convince us of anything-he wanted what we wanted. I plan on writing a review with photos after final installation, but thought a mid-project review was appropriate. Mario is the third carpenter to look at the project. I fired one for unsatisfactory customer service and one never responded back after the initial call. Mario appears to have been the best choice for us. I am VERY pleased."
