"I highly recommend this company for its service, professionalism, and detail to workmanship. From start to finish, I felt like this company had our interests as customers at heart. It started with the president of the company calling to see if everything was starting on schedule and to our satisfaction. During the work, there were some problems, but they handled every single issue promptly, professionally, and to our total satisfaction. The materials and their choices were outstanding. The 2 bathrooms worked on look stunning. We had shower doors and a vanity installed and replaced in a guest bath, and in the master, we had a tub ripped out and a huge double shower installed alongside a linen/medicine closet and a double vanity installed. The floor was also redone. The materials we selected and their construction techniques and methods have created bathrooms we have always wanted in our home. We are completely delighted with the work and how it looks. Sean, our salesman, put together a perfect package with great deals for us. And as for the workmen: the guys on site, Tito, Mario, and Fernando are truly outstanding, hardworking, and highly skilled. They are master craftsmen. The man who helped design and install the double shower door--I think his name is Caesar--was efficient and created a beautiful showpiece. Everything was done promptly, and within 2 weeks from start, we had 2 finished bathrooms that we are delighted with. The early change to a new project manager, Alex, had a few bumps, but Alex worked hard to make sure that the initial bumps were overcome, and we were informed and the project was moving along the lines we had originally planned under his expert supervision. "Home Advisor rating system has a limitation on how to choose the projects, so let me recap here in detail. I found John Betz & Son (Silver Spring MD) through Home Advisor. After several calls to other recommendations, John (himself) was the only one to answer his phone, pull over (he was driving), talk me through all the handyman work I thought I needed (the list grew!), get my information, and set up an appt (all on the side of the road). For our initial walk-thru, he showed up not on time, but Early! He confirmed the type of work I needed, from my other experience with a previous walk-thru. We set up a date/time for the first priority job because it had a deadline -- he showed up early for that appt, and he and son did an excellent job fixing rotting exterior front door wood, and painting (and painted more than was requested too, to make it look seamless!). The other jobs were not an emergency, so we set up 2 days the following week. He again showed up early with his son on BOTH days. They worked all day, both days, on the following: caulking exterior windows, pediments, garage door (and checking exterior for any leaking); re-hanging & securing a shutter; replacing an exterior keypad for my garage door opener and setting up the coding system; replacing/repairing drywall in the garage; fixing kitchen sink (repaired garbage disposal and replaced piping/drainage repair for other sink); replaced a ceramic tile in dining room (and matched grout so perfectly I couldn't tell which tile had been replaced afterwards!); drilled and installed new locks on a living room window; MADE and installed 2 screens for living room windows; repaired threshold wood strip in basement that runs between carpet and tile floor; AND THEN, he checked a vent return that makes periodic noise, and checked behind insulation to be sure no mold/damage was present -- those were no charge :-). John gives a full electronic estimate for his work before it begins, accepts major credit cards (if really necessary), and sends an electronic receipt. During this time, I was able to talk with John and get all my handyman fears put to rest, as he is an expert, and can do work from top to bottom of your house (not just handyman work). I highly recommend John Betz & Son -- my experience was 5-star!!"

"On May 2, 2016, we experienced a hail storm in Indian Head, MD that I have never seen in the 20 plus years I have lived in this area. The hail was the size of baseballs and lasted a good 15 minutes. When it was over and we started walking around the house and cars we realized we were going to need a professional to take care of the roof, siding and drain spout damage. A neighbor had recommended New Image Elite, and that is what made us contact them versus all the other fliers we received from the salesman flooding our area after the storm. In particular, my neighbor recommended I work with Charlie Taylor from New Image. He said that Charlie was great to work with. When I met Charlie for the first time I was very impressed with the fact that he was from the Southern Maryland area and a long time resident working in the roofing industry for many years. I liked the idea that he and New Image would be around for many years unlike some of the "storm chaser" companies from out of state that were knocking on our door. True to form, the whole experience from meeting with our Insurance adjuster to completing the work, Charlie guided us through the process. Even when after the original storm we had a thunder windstorm that came through and a large tree branch fell on our shed roof that had just been replaced. I called Charlie, and the next week he had someone out to repair the roof once again. I would highly recommend New Image Elite as a wonderful business to work with. The ladies I spoke to in the office were always helpful and quickly passed on my messages and I was always called back quickly."

We had 14 windows that needed to be installed, 4 custom panels built under the windows on the front of the house, and 8 dormers in our roof that we wanted to update per a custom design we had to replace the exisiting siding with Azek trim. Express Builders came out to take the necessary measurements and responded within 1 day to give us a quote with a very reasonable price. Throughout the time they were at our house, Fernando was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the materials and worked with us to make sure his team's work met the design we had provided. He worked closely with us to make sure the first dormer was right and then his team was able to replicate the same for the remaining 7 dormers. We absolutely love how much better the house looks after Express Builders helped us with the work we needed to be done! Definitely recommend them to others!"
