"Bruce repaired our back door with amazing precision! It was an awkward metal door that was installed by a prior rehab contractor (over a year ago) from standard to wheelchair width door. The door was never flush or mounted correctly. As time went by, the door became unusable. Bruce tackled the challenge with ease and made the door fit snug, smooth & with a solid feel. For a little extra, he also installed a new storm door we purchased to the same back door. Even though he ran out of time on the first day, he returned the next day and cheerfully finished up and made sure that I was totally comfortable with the feel and sturdiness of the doors. He also suggested an additional safety lock which he picked up and installed that as well for both front & back doors. Once we get our foundation in order, if we have any other issues with any of our doors, we will be calling Bruce for estimates for those adjustments. Pilot Point is fairly far from most decent, reliable contractors. I can't tell you how many flaky guys are around who don't know their craft! Bruce made a difference in the quality of our lives; literally. I take care of my disabled hubby; unable to do even the simple things due to energy or time restraints. Our back door was taken from a 32" to 36" by a contractor we used a year ago. It was never installed correctly and was incomplete. It finally stopped working. Bruce gave a quote for the repair & re-installation, as well as for another nominal fee, to put in a new storm door. When he was done, our door finally fit properly and we now have a beautiful storm door bonus! There are no gaps; it is airtight, snug and easy to open & close. He pointed out where the other contractor missed some points, and showed what needed to be done & why. He was very patient. He did not rush, and actually came the next day to complete it to the level he wanted it to be. All of the "T's" were crossed and "I's" dotted, from what we saw when he was finished. Noting my hubby's handicapped status, Bruce also came up with suggestions of improving & smoothing over transition over the threshold. He adjusted the ramp from outside to fit the new door threshold location, and made helpful suggestions for the transition portion inside the house. He also noted additional safety measure we could install at our door lock area, and we asked that he put it in place, and he did so. Thanks, Bruce! It took a long time to find someone who knows what he is doing. We highly recommend Bruce for those jobs that seem overwhelming, but are very important to you, and they just have to be done. Bruce is the exception, as he knows what he is doing, and he does it very well. You may find his quote a bit high, but he does deliver quality craftsmanship, you get your money's worth and you will not be disappointed! "First all, I would like to say my great thanks to the office manager and the two techs, especially, Chase, who came to our house to help on non- cooling upstairs AC system. The scheduling with them is very smooth, and feel welcome. Chase came in with very good manners. Most importantly, he really took his patience in such hot day, and his efforts to sort after the root cause of the complicated issue. Finally, he figured the 3-year old systems were mis-installed. They recommended me to ask the builder or installation company to fix the problem. Over the past three years, I made a couple of service request to the installation company. From the installation, after-installation quality check up, to service check-ups, no one in that company found the big mistake. It is Chase who identified the mistake, which if let it goes, would cause further serious damages to the whole HVAC system. My interactions with the installation company was difficult at the beginning. Later on, one supervisor from the installation company confirmed that Chase’s conclusion is right and offered repairs. Again, many thanks to Chase, the other tech and this company."
