"They went above and beyond. My electrical outlet in the living room (with tv, etc) had stopped working. They came and were able to replace the wiring and got the outlets to work. They also re-installed the outlet in the downstairs bathroom and was able to install a new light fixture in the upstairs bathroom. The last electrician we hired wasnâ t able to do any of these tasks. We had gone without electric in these areas for a while. Thank god for Angi. I was able to hire them through Angi and they did an awesome job. I will be keeping them in mind anytime I have electrical issues in the future!"

Electrical
"I originally hired AKA to install 2 ceiling fans. When the electrician got to my house, I asked if they could do some additional work with a few lighting fixtures around my house. The work was completed very efficiently and they had no issues with the extra work. Pricing was fair as well. The electrician saved me some money by inspecting my existing electrical boxes where the fans were going and discovering they were already sufficient for supporting the weight of a ceiling fan. Saved me about 40 bucks on fan braces. He could have just told me he needed to replace them and charge me but he didn’t. I will use this company again when I have the need for an electrician."

"We had an emergency with our drain in our facility and was initially told we would have to wait for an after hours slot to take care of the issue. I let them know that it was vital to our business to take care of this or we would have to cease all operations. They called me back within a matter of a few minutes and they sent a tech out almost immediately. The tech was friendly and efficient. Great service from everyone involved. I will be happy to call on them again."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesTome Electricians are rated 4.6 out of 5 based on 336 reviews of 336 pros.
