"Showed up when they said they would, did what they said they were going to do. That in itself is worth it's weight in gold."

"Based on my description of the issue, Caleb came prepared to replace the bulbs and ballasts in my basement office fixtures. He tried replaceing the bulbs first and when that seemed to solve the problem did NOT end up replacing the ballasts as well, saving me several hundred dollars. I apprecaited his logical approach to discovering the problem and his honesty fixing it."

"Randy was just awesome! He was very knowledgeable and very kind. I called him around 10 am after having a new refrigerator delivered. I explained that I needed some help with the water line that connects to the ice maker/water dispenser. He explained over the phone what likely needed to happen and then told me that he would get back with me in a couple of hours. I gave him my address and info and sure enough--2 hours later he comes, takes a look at what I need done, went to the hardware store, and bought what was needed. He then came back and installed everything and spent a good deal of time talking to me about installing our gutters. He's very friendly and I would not hesitate to call him again if we need work done on our house or remodeling. The quality of service we received definitely exceeded the price we paid to hire him. Randy, if you see this, thanks again very much for all of your help today!"

"Dustin rearranged his schedule to install a new a/c system in our house. I can't say enough to convey my gratitude for his coming out to the house the first time to troubleshoot the old system, determine that it had to be replaced. He rearranged his schedule just prior to and just after the Memorial Day weekend. I foresee using him for any of our electrical and HVAC problems. He is just a good, reliable person to do business with. I have M/S and he understood this was a big problem for me. Thank you Dustin."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesHarrisonville Electricians are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 231 reviews of 231 pros.
