I would attempt to do it myself but came to the conclusion I needed help. I had so much trouble finding a company in Boston that would do residential cleaning and finally stumbled upon Shawn on HomeAdvisor. The before and after state were remarkable. "We have an arrangement with our tenants that when they move out, they do not have to clean, but can just get settled into their new home. We will hire a cleaning service to professionally clean our house they vacated, and subtract the reasonable cleaning fee from their security deposit. Tenants love this option. Celenia arrived with four workers and in about two hours vacuumed and mopped all floors, cleaned frig, stove, cupboards, bathtub, shower, etc. - 2400 square feet home. Tenants NEVER leave it this clean. It looks beautiful. Prospective tenants appreciate knowing the home has been professionally cleaned before they move in. Celenia was great to work with, and accommodated our last minute cleaning request. Her crew was very pleasant. We will use her services again for our other properties."
